We explored the effects of quercitrin on platelet activation to better understand its role in blood clotting. Through comprehensive experiments—like assessing platelet aggregation and thrombus formation—we observed that quercitrin significantly hinders platelet activation. This means it impairs platelet aggregation and granule secretion, which are crucial in forming blood clots.
Moreover, quercitrin showed promise in preventing arterial thrombus formation without extending bleeding time, hinting at its potential as a treatment for thrombotic diseases. Overall, our findings suggest that quercitrin could be beneficial in managing blood clot-related conditions.

Taxifolin inhibits NETosis, aids thrombo-inflammation
Taxifolin inhibits NETosis through activation of Nrf2 and provides protective effects in models of lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome.
We investigated how taxifolin, a bioactive flavonoid, could impact diseases associated with blood clots like lupus and antiphospholipid syndrome (APS). Using in vitro assays and mouse models, we observed that taxifolin significantly inhibits the formation of neutrophil extracellular traps—an action known as NETosis—linked to inflammation and clotting. Notably, taxifolin reduced autoantibody formation and large-vein thrombosis in these models. This pioneering study suggests that taxifolin may offer protective benefits against thrombo-inflammatory conditions, making it an exciting area for further research.
We explored how Baiying Qingmai Formulation (BF) affects thromboangiitis obliterans (TAO) by analyzing its chemical makeup and how it interacts with various signaling pathways.
Our findings showed that BF significantly inhibits important proteins related to inflammation and blood clotting. It not only decreases harmful cytokines but also increases protective metabolites in the bloodstream.
Ultimately, we believe BF offers a promising path to alleviate symptoms of TAO by reducing blood clots and improving vascular health in affected individuals.

My husband and I also took it as part of our Covid treatment regimen, leading to noticeable upgrades in our immune responses.
A blood clot is a mass of blood that changes from a liquid to a gel, effectively forming a plug that can stop bleeding. This natural process, known as coagulation, is critical for preventing excessive blood loss when you sustain an injury. Blood clots can occur in various areas of the body, typically at the site of a wound, but they can also form within blood vessels without an obvious injury, which may lead to serious health complications.
While blood clots are essential for healing, they can pose significant health risks if they form inappropriately. For example, a deep vein thrombosis (DVT) occurs when a clot forms in a deep vein, usually in the legs, and can travel to the lungs, causing a life-threatening condition called a pulmonary embolism. Risk factors for blood clots include prolonged immobility, certain medical conditions, and the use of specific medications, among others. It’s important to recognize the symptoms of abnormal clotting, such as swelling, pain, and redness in the affected area, and seek medical attention if they occur.
Quercetin is a naturally occurring flavonoid that is found in a variety of fruits, vegetables, and grains. Known for its antioxidant properties, quercetin is believed to help combat oxidative stress in the body, which can contribute to various health issues. You can commonly find it in foods such as apples, onions, berries, and citrus fruits, as well as in leafy greens. This makes it a popular dietary supplement among health enthusiasts looking to enhance their overall wellness.
Beyond its antioxidant capacity, quercetin is also being researched for its potential anti-inflammatory effects and benefits for immune support. Some studies suggest that it may help reduce allergy symptoms and improve exercise performance by decreasing muscle fatigue. With its wide range of potential health benefits, quercetin is often marketed as a natural remedy for various ailments, although it’s essential to consult a healthcare professional before starting any new supplement regimen to ensure its safety and effectiveness for your specific needs.
Based on user reviews, the time it takes to see results from taking quercetin for blood clot issues can vary, but many users report improvements within a short timeframe. Many studies point to the potential of natural compounds, particularly quercetin, in managing blood clotting. Research has identified quercetin's ability to inhibit platelet activation and aggregation, making it a promising candidate for preventing conditions related to thrombosis. For instance, one study highlighted quercetin's effectiveness in blocking a key receptor involved in platelet clumping, suggesting it may play a significant role in reducing unwanted blood clot formation [14]. Furthermore, quercetin has shown protective effects against histone-induced platelet toxicity, which could be useful in managing critical illnesses linked to clotting abnormalities [2].
Additionally, quercetin, a component of various plants, has been shown to directly inhibit thrombin activity, a crucial factor in clot formation, thereby supporting its antithrombotic properties [1]. Other studies have examined the impact of quercetin in various formulations and preparations, reinforcing its potential as a natural remedy for cardiovascular health, particularly in preventing thrombosis [4]. While these findings are promising, further research is needed to fully understand the mechanisms and clinical benefits before quercetin can be confidently recommended as a treatment for blood clots.
Based on user reviews, many individuals report significant improvements in various health symptoms after taking quercetin. A common experience is the stabilization of blood pressure; one user noted that their father saw a gradual normalization in both blood pressure and cholesterol levels after about a month of use Read Review. Additionally, several users mentioned quick recoveries from eye hemorrhages, with one reviewer observing that their mother's eye bruising resolved in just three days, compared to the typical week it would take without the supplement Read Review.
Moreover, quercetin users often reported heightened energy levels and mood improvements. For instance, one user felt more energetic and less depressed within a week of starting the supplement while taking it to bolster immune responses against COVID-19 Read Review. Overall, while these anecdotal experiences indicate that quercetin can lead to noticeable health benefits—especially regarding blood pressure stability and immune support—individual results can vary, and some users may experience different effects or side effects.
Based on user reviews, many individuals reported positive experiences when combining quercetin with other supplements for managing blood clot-related concerns. For example, one user indicated that their mother's blood pressure, which often causes eye hemorrhaging, stabilized after taking quercetin alongside magnesium and vitamin D Read Review. This highlights the importance of individual response to supplement combinations and the need for awareness when mixing them. Overall, while many users found quercetin to be beneficial in conjunction with other supplements, it's advisable to approach combinations carefully and consult healthcare providers if needed.
Users report varying experiences regarding the right dosage of Quercetin for treating blood clots and supporting overall health. Commonly cited benefits include bolstered blood vessel strength and improved circulation, which collectively assist in maintaining normal blood clotting and prevent the formation of blood clots, particularly in lung vessels Read Review. Many users have noted that when taken alongside other supplements, such as magnesium and vitamin D, Quercetin contributes to stabilizing blood pressure and enhancing the body's immune response, indicating a synergistic effect in its health benefits Read Review.
However, some users have highlighted the importance of caution, as adverse effects can occur—one user experienced thickened blood and clotting issues when combining Quercetin with resveratrol Read Review. Overall, while specific dosages were not cited, consistency in use—like taking Quercetin twice yearly as a preventive measure or as part of a Covid recovery protocol—seems to be a common approach among users Read Review. As with all supplements, users are encouraged to consult healthcare professionals before beginning any new regimen to determine the right dose for their specific needs.

This product was a lifesaver! I purchased it just in time before I fell ill about a month later. My homemade hcq alongside this actively reduced my temperature and alleviated terrible aches. After two weeks, I measured my blood pressure and was astonished to see it drop from 150/100 to 118/85. The only downside is the hot maltodextrin which may disrupt gut health and affect blood glucose levels.
