Love this stuff

I bought this because I had sinus pain/pressure, a sore throat, and a Cough for weeks. I had been taking a natural vitamin c, but it wasn't helping, so I decided to give this stuff a shot. I had read reviews about the gross taste and texture, but thankfully, it didn't taste too bad to me. Within two days of taking two packets per day, all my flu symptoms were gone. Oddly enough, I've experienced several unexpected positive side effects. My blurry vision of 30 years disappeared, and I could see things clearly from far away. I was dumbfounded and went to the grocery store to see if I could read the signs in the aisles. I could. I couldn't before without glasses. I thought it was a fluke and stopped taking the supplement. The next day, my vision got blurry again. I took two packets, and later in the day, clear vision returned. I don't know how that's possible, but I'm thrilled. I suffer from dry eyes, have been diagnosed with fibromyalgia/chronic fatigue. I've also found I get deep sleep since taking these packets. I have more energy and less brain fog. I bought it hoping to kick the flu's butt. It did that, and a lot more. Thanks

Allow alcohol to evaporate if youre getting headaches

*Update* July 2017: I'm changing my rating from 1 star to 5. I ordered a box directly from the manufacturer and received a booklet of instructions and a shot glass. The booklet suggested exposing the contents of the packet to air for 15 minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate. I tried it and then took the Vit C. No more headaches! I took 2/day before and after a tooth extraction. It healed very quickly. I usually get sick at least once every winter, but I didn't get so much as a Cough or sniffle last winter while taking this. After finishing the box from the manufacturer I used the rest of the box I bought from Amazon- letting the alcohol evaporate. Still no headaches! I'm glad I'm noticing benefits from it! Sept 2016:This product gave me terrible headaches! I wanted so badly for it to work! I gave it 5 days, and I continued to feel worse after each dose. Perhaps it was a bad batch. Maybe I should buy directly from the manufacturer. I will most likely try that because I would love the health benefits so many other reviewers have claimed

so far so good, but not totally sure yet

I think this is a good product and I will explain below why I think so. I have given it 4 stars because I have been taking it less than a week. I will say it has an odd but not strong taste or bad and it also feels like mucous when swallowing it! But if you put it in cold seven up or cold flavored water and use a straw, then you shouldn't notice the odd taste. Follow the directions for cold liquid or room temperature (the taste is hidden with cold drinks). We have heavy haze where I live and my asthma always flares up with wheezing and coughing. My allergist usually gives me injections of vitamin C, but I wanted to get away from the needle and also to take a higher dose to see if I could avoid the steroid inhaler. We have had heavy haze for over a week and I was coughing and wheezing for 2 days. After taking this, I stopped the hacking Cough and wheezing. I have taken about 3-4 packets/day for 4 days now and I can breath. I have only needed albuterol a few times and that was about 4 hours after I took the packet. After taking the packet, and not the albuterol, the hacking Cough subsided. I haven't noticed any change in stools either :) (sometimes oily substances will do that). I had wondered if breathing better was the placebo effect, but with the haze we have from air pollution (from a volcano!) and my allergies to all the mold, pollen, and dust in the air (I live in the tropics) and the fact that I always hack out a lung when I go to bed, I don't think it can be a placebo effect. I am a skeptical person, but as an asthmatic who has to avoid steroids for other health reasons, I had nothing to lose in trying it. The haze is going to continue throughout the week and I backed down to 1 pack today and so far, so good. I still don't hack/wheeze when I go to bed. To me that is the sign that it works for my asthma. But only time will tell for sure. I will come back later and share my long-term experience. My allergist said vitamin C is an anti inflamatory, in addition to being an antioxidant, so I am not surprised that it has helped me lessen the inflammation that causes asthma. I am relieved that I didn't waste my money and that I can stop getting intramuscular injections of vitamin C. I am also very relieved that I haven't had to use the steroid this time, as that makes me sweat and causes insulin resistance. This is my experience with this product and may not apply to all people. Although it has helped me personally in a very tangible way (yes I like to breath well), I wouldn't think it a panacea

Super Vitamin C helped us in our time of need.

I have to thank Tim Ferriss' recommendation for this Vitamin C. Thought I saw it on his blog or email. I got this on a whim after reading his post, but forgot all about it in my medicine cabinet. About a month later, my Mom had a stroke and was in ICU and hospital for 5 days. I mixed two of these, as well as two EmergenCs in her water while she was in the hospital, and she beat a cold coming on. Around the same time, my 9 year old son started coughing, he said a lot of his classmates were coughing and wheezing, so I gave him 1/2 packet 1/2 packet of EmergenC twice a day for 4 days. I gave the other half to his 7 year old brother so he doesn't catch it. My 9 year old only coughed a little bit and was over his Cough and cold in 3 days. The 7 year old never got it. My husband also had a month long Cough, and I gave him 1 packet of this, plus 1 packet EmergenC twice a day for approx 4 days also. Beat his Cough. So, I think this stuff works. None of us could afford to get sick around my Mother, so Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C saved all of us. Since it's expensive, I plan to give my family this Vitamin C cocktail twice a week, then do twice a day if we're catching a bug. I also read the 1000 Amazon reviews, and I let the alcohol out by opening the packet and leaving it out for 8-15 minutes before drinking. Will also make sure we do the twice a day dosage when traveling. ** Quick note--we have autoimmune issues in the family, and a great doctor here told us to take Clinical Strength Culturelle--the 15 billion kind. Our family member takes that twice a day, plus the twice a week Vitamin C here, and is doing great

Stock up for flu season

This past winter's flu season was brutal. People were out sick for weeks. I don't fare well when I catch a cold or flu..and this past winter's flu was pretty nasty. I was knocked out with fever and body aches for 2 days. It was so bad I started looking for a Vit C IV option. I read that you need to go in for several sessions to be effective. That would run me several hundred dollars...and I dreaded getting out in my condition. So I gave this a shot. Got it delivered next day and started taking it. My limit was 4 a day. I brought it down to 3 a day on my second day. Runny nose gone by 4th day of taking this vit c. Coughing was completely gone by 3rd week after taking this. Usually Cough for me persists into 6-7 weeks. I got over the flu with one box. That's pretty cheap compared to the alternative. I now keep it stocked up and take it at the first sign of a sniffle or sore throat. One packet, and its gone. Excellent product

Lyposomes to the Rescue!

I bought this out of desperation! I get a yearly Cough that hangs around for three months! By the fourth visit to the doctor to receive my umpteenth prescript for Advair or prednisone, I am usually at my wits end. This Cough is no joke. People comment on it and it interrupts my every sentence, not to mention my sleep. Believe me when I say I have dark thoughts about life and the hopelessness of it all by the time I've been coughing for the third month and NOTHING IS WORKING! I was going to see a naturopath about herbal options and my friend said that maybe I was very Vitamin C deficient. She then said, "but don't bother taking those crap pills in the store b/c nothing gets absorbed anyway." That is how my research began....and I found this! I am not about to say its life-changing or claim its the very thing that cured my Cough b/c that's the kind of statement that makes me roll my eyes and skip to the next review. But, I will say that my Cough is almost entirely gone and I have changed nothing other than adding this two times a day to my life. Once in the morning with a shot of water and once in the evening in a shot of cranberry juice. Both on an empty stomach for fifteen min. That's it. That's all I changed. I was still taking my stupid Advair inhaler (at the time), which I had been doing for the two months before that to no avail. Then the Vitamin C comes along and two weeks later I am 90% better? Hmmm, very weird and highly improbable, but I cannot account for it other than to tell you I'm amazed and extremely grateful for this stuff. I am in my third week now and almost go the whole day without coughing. I stopped using the Advair this week, too, b/c I can't stand having steroids in my system. I just ordered another box of this b/c I want to continue taking this everyday to hopefully, prevent this cycle for next year's cold season! I am very pleased with this product and truly believe it strengthened my immunity to get me over that nasty hump. I also feel a general sense of energy throughout the day, too. GREAT DIFFERENCE IN HEALTH

I BEGAN TAKING THIS EXACT PRODUCT RECOMMENDED TO ME FOR FIGHT AGAINST FREE RADICALS AND CATCHING COLD/Cough. HOWEVER, I REALLY BEGAN FROM AN EXCRUCIATING MOLAR AND GUM AREA THAT NEEDED TO BE EXTRACTED. THIS TOOTH WAS CAUSING ME AGONY AND I HAD TO WAIT 6 WEEKS BEFORE SURGERY. AS I BEGAN TAKING 1-2 PACKETS A DAY, THE TOOTH AND GUM SURROUNDING THIS AREA, THE PAIN COMPLETELY DISAPPEARED! I HAD ABSOULOUTELY NO PAIN!! I DID NOT NEED ANY PAIN RX OR "PACKING" THE TOOTH, OR ANY NUMBING SOLUTION FOR THE TOOTH. I ALSO STARTED TO FEEL BETTER WITH MORE ENERGY. SO THIS VITAMIC C GOES DIRECTLY INTO THE BLOOD STREAM AS PILLS DO NOT. I HAVE BEEN ORDERING THIS EVER SINCE I DISCOVERED THIS PRODUCT!! TRY THIS!

Best vitamin C I've ever used (still!)

I'm not a doctor or a nutritionist. This is purely based upon my experiences with varying vitamin C products. Lypo-Spheric Vitamin C has been more effective for me than plain ole vitamin c, Emergen-C and Esther C. I generally take one packet per day in a bottle of Apple Juice (shake well). You can just squeeze the snot like substance into your mouth but it is the worst, WORST tasting thing I have ever put in my mouth outside of pure Grapefruit Seed Extract. Regardless of the taste the results speak for themselves. UPDATE My first review of this product was in May of 2012, it is now 2019. I don't take a packet every day because of my budget, but if I could I would. Now I make sure the kids get a pack at the VERY first sign of a Cough or sniffle and continue to do so daily until the symptoms dissapear and have been gone for at least a day. I have also found that this particular vitamin C seems to enhance the effectiveness/results of any other supplement I've taken along with it (that same day or season/period of time). Especially with regards to immune support related herbs and suppliments like Oregano Oil and the like. Note: Alcohol is used as a preservative so I mix this in juice for my finnicky (sp) child. I've heard you can squeeze it into a small amount of water and let it sit for a few minutes to allow the alcohol to evaporate but I haven't tried that yet. All in all after 7 years I still take it (just orders another box) and this is STILL the best results getting Vitamin C that I have ever used hands down

I got well.

I was fighting a losing battle with bronchitis until I started taking this. I'd been sick 3 weeks and had finished my antibiotics and still had the Cough and sinus infection. Hard to be sure if this is what turned the corner, but within 2 days of starting 3 daily, four at a time doses I felt the tide turn. I travel for work a lot, and I will never go on the road again without a box of this with me. Will update this review the next time I'm not feeling well and see how it performs. This may be the most awful thing I've tasted since my sister's mud pies. I use 3 oz of OJ, sip a little plain OJ first and then swirl it in the glass and chug it down, trying to get it to the back of my throat and down as fast as possible. If you are going on one of those reality shows, get some of this and practice. 11/3/2018 Update Visited some friends that were sick and started getting that scratch in my throat within a few hours. I quickly started taking 2 doses and then another single every 2 hours for the rest of the day. That evening I noticed the scratch was gone. Taking 2 doses in the morning another single does mid day and 2 in the evening. Still feeling well with no scratch. Going on a job travel trip tomorrow, very pleased I'm not feeling ill. They are in my bag for good

Absolutely Awesome!

I have used this product for about 7 years - 1 packet daily. I put it in a small glass of orange juice, so it does not stick to the glass and you will not taste it. You can also take it in a small glass of milk. Before I used it, I would always get a very bad cold in the winter, which invariably turned into bronchitis, lasting for about 2 months, with doctor's visits and all. Really bad bronchitis with an uncontrollable deep Cough. I would usually get that about twice each cold season. Once I started using Lypospheric, I quit getting the colds. Gone - completely! One year, I didn't take it (I was concerned about its impact on my diabetes and I guess I thought I was over the bronchitis routine) and sure enough, I got the sickness again. So now, I don't live without it. The diabetic problem is that your sugar readings will be higher
