Read More...I'm no vitamin freak; I tried these because vitamin B-1 is claimed to run off the pesky mosquitoes. Guess what? It really works. I live in the skeeter infested Gulf South area, and it makes working outside bearable again. Don't try to skimp by on less than the 250 MG size or it may not work as well for you. I seem to remember it took a few days to "get into my system", but after that I was really surprised. In the same areas of my yard where I would get "skeeter swarmed" before it was as if I was almost invisible to the pesky critters. No bull, all the aggressive attacks stopped, and only the occasional skeeter would "stop by for a snack". (and quickly get WWE smack-down slapped) Another possible benefit would be for hunting. I doubt whatever faint scent the skeeters can detect will tip off a deer, or other tasty critter. I'm sure mosquito spray is a definite no-no while hunting but will try this instead. Try not to miss taking it at all; take it every day so it stays in your system. The only time I remember having any skeeters light is when I missed a day or too. I used it the entire spring, summer & fall - it worked for me all season. Hint: I shopped carefully and this was the best buy for 250 MG tablets, and Mason is a good brand

Read More...I've been using B1 supplements for awhile and had grown tired of the sometimes inflated price. These appear to be similar to what I was taking aside from being 250 per pill and not being a gel pill. These are more of the traditional dry, white tablets that everything used to come in. They make for a dry swallow but I simply compensate with more water and I take 2 to equal the dose I've been on from my previous brand. I haven't noticed any drop off or I'll effects so they are a success. I had been paying $20 or more per bottle and even having to double the dose it's still a better deal for me
