AWESOME (but some side effects for me). These work so well that they became quite addictive. I started taking them in September last year due to my struggles with insomnia and irregular sleep patterns from work. Within 15 minutes, I would fall asleep. Although I experienced the odd dreams melatonin is known for, the sleep was excellent with no morning grogginess. However, I took them every night, which began to affect my monthly cycles. I had heard melatonin can impact hormone levels, and my error was consistent nightly use instead of as needed. I eventually stopped due to its effects. I will keep them on hand for insomnia or a proper night's sleep; they truly work wonders.

Melatonin shows promise for insomnia
We conducted a multicenter trial to explore how melatonin and temazepam affect insomnia in patients with advanced cancer. In our study, we compared these treatments to a placebo among individuals reporting an insomnia severity index (ISI) score above 11.

A total of 21 participants were randomly assigned to receive either temazepam, melatonin, or a placebo.
