Miraculous relief

After inhaling wildfire smoke in 2017, my husband developed severe RADS and coughed persistently, nearly passing out and cracking ribs. Despite numerous attempts with expensive medications, nothing worked. We decided to try Mucinex DM. Surprisingly, within an hour of taking one pill, the coughing stopped. After 15 months of relentless coughing, he now coughs rarely and only needs to clear his throat occasionally. Two pills daily feel like a miracle.

It does its job remarkably well. This medicine not only reduces coughing but also helps loosen phlegm in the chest. Drink plenty of water when taking it to thin secretions. This sustained-action medication shouldn't be crushed; if you struggle with large pills, cough syrup may be better. I hate taking pills, so I prefer one every 12 hours rather than several doses throughout the day. This medication is great to have during cold and flu season or the COVID-19 pandemic.

Best product and best price available. When it comes to cold and allergy relief, Mucinex Maximum Strength DM Extended-Release Bi-Layer Tablets are the best on the market with Amazon's price being the most competitive I have encountered. The pharmacist recommended them for my husband, who had an upper respiratory issue causing considerable drainage and coughing. The product was very effective and did not create the jitteriness that sudafed does. I used it when I felt a cold coming on, preventing it from escalating into a severe infection. I was able to breathe comfortably and sleep through the night without coughing up mucus. My only complaint is the cost, being 20% more at warehouse stores than on Amazon. I appreciate the assurance of receiving a product that is not close to expiry.

It works! I have winter allergies that result in a constant dry cough. I struggled to function during the day or sleep at night. Previously tried numerous medications that didn't help.
