Baitouweng Decoction effectively reduces diarrhea
We examined the impact of Baitouweng Decoction, a traditional Chinese herbal remedy, on diarrhea caused by dampness-heat conditions. By using Wistar rats, we created various test groups to observe its effectiveness compared to a control group.

We developed a new rat model to study diarrhea caused by a commonly problematic gut bacteria. By using metronidazole and egg white, we found that these rats were able to develop diarrhea, unlike hamsters that typically died without showing symptoms.
When we treated the rats with the probiotic strain MIYAIRI 588, we observed a significant decrease in the incidence of diarrhea. The grains are small and easy to take with Vitamin C. My hair feels moister, but initially, I had a lot of diarrhea. The effects seem lesser now, but I continue taking it for the sake of my hair.
