Works very well. I began with the 100 mg dose to ease into it, which worked fine initially. I took one daily in the evening with food, noticing mood improvements after a few days. I increased to one in the morning and one in the evening, but this made me severely nauseated, prompting me to reduce to one daily. This regimen seems effective, similar to what I once experienced with Celexa, which I weaned off. If you're considering this instead of antidepressants, begin with a lower dose and research interactions carefully.

Nausea and stomach pain. I have been taking this product for about two years, usually opting for the 200mg. However, when it was out of stock, I ordered the 100mg and it had a severe effect on me. After two days of taking it, I began to experience nausea and intense stomach pain.
Nausea at first but it works a treat now. I take this product occasionally for menopause symptoms. I was offered hormones from my doctor but declined due to side effects. I only take this pill if I'm feeling irritable or low (about every six weeks). I hardly notice after taking it that I'm balanced again. Initially, I suffered nausea when taking the pill with water, but later I crushed it or opened the capsule and had it with food. Now that the nausea has subsided, I take it when I'm feeling menopausal, and it works perfectly.

The Tr version is worth it. I found a study some years ago discussing the superiority of the Tr version over the non-TR version, particularly regarding practical outcomes. It suggested that while you can saturate your body with vitamin C, much benefit is lost quickly. The TR version offers time release. If you want immediate results, the non-TR version is cheaper, but you waste much of it. For longer-lasting effects, use the TR version. However, I find it does cause nausea if taken in higher doses, so I ensure to eat during and after its intake to mitigate this and avoid excessive coffee.
