I'm grateful for this alternative to the pancreatic enzymes from pigs prescribed by my rheumatologist, who allowed me to trial this product. It played a significant role in my recovery from a long autoimmune disorder and is used intermittently for mild flare-ups of inflammation symptoms. Personally, I would not take such supplements without my MD's approval.
