Melatonin reduces pediatric anxiety, pain
We focused on the effects of oral melatonin on anxiety and pain in children during the stressful process of venipuncture. In a double-blind, randomized controlled trial, we found that administering 0.5 mg/kg of melatonin 30 minutes before the procedure significantly reduced both pain and anxiety levels compared to a placebo.

The results showed that only 18.8% of the kids receiving melatonin reported pain, while 78.2% in the placebo group did. Furthermore, anxiety affected 44.6% of the melatonin group compared to 94.1% of those in the control group.

While melatonin appeared to improve experiences during venipuncture, its impact on the success rate was not statistically significant.

L-theanine supports mental health
This study evaluated the impact of four weeks of L-theanine on stress and cognitive function in 30 healthy adults. Participants received either 200 mg of L-theanine or a placebo in a double-blind setup. We observed significant reductions in anxiety and stress symptoms, as indicated by improved scores on various measures, including sleep quality. Additionally, cognitive functions, such as verbal fluency, showed notable enhancement after L-theanine use. These findings suggest that L-theanine may be beneficial for managing stress-related issues and boosting mental performance.

Melatonin reduces anxiety from glyphosate
Our research examined the effects of melatonin on anxiety and memory problems caused by exposure to glyphosate-based herbicides (GBH). We started with pregnant Wistar rats that were subjected to GBH during gestation and lactation. After weaning, the offspring were treated with melatonin to see if it could help mitigate the negative effects they experienced due to their early exposure.

We observed that exposure to GBH led to increased anxiety and depression-like behaviors in the rats. Additionally, it appeared to impair their memory function. In looking at oxidative stress markers in the brain regions associated with emotion and cognition, we found indications of increased stress—especially pronounced in the female offspring.

However, the inclusion of melatonin significantly reduced these anxiety levels and improved cognitive deficits. Interestingly, the benefits were notably greater in female rats compared to males, suggesting a potential sex-dependent response to melatonin treatment.

Improved dog anxiety

Great for dog anxiety. I purchased Nature Made Melatonin + with 200 Mg L-theanine for my anxious chocolate Labrador. For five years, he was on Clomipramine for severe night-time anxiety, leading to pacing and relentless barking. When it was out of stock and expensive, I was desperate. After reading another review, I decided to try these on my dog, and they worked remarkably well! With two pills at bedtime, he now sleeps soundly and wakes alert, and we all enjoy peaceful nights. I'm relieved to have reduced his reliance on other medications.

Increased sleep quality

Knocks You Out in an Hour Amazing. Amazing, this amino acid, which has many natural benefits, works brilliantly. I showed this to the pharmacist, who was impressed by its effectiveness for sleep. Within an hour, I was so exhausted that I barely made it to bed. My anxiety and sleep problems had left me lucky to sleep three hours a night. A sleep specialist would not prescribe anything due to my diabetes. This product is like a gift from heaven. I can almost always sleep through the night now, and in high-stress situations, like giving a wedding speech, I take an extra one halfway through the night, which has only been necessary a few times over the months. Melatonin does nothing for me, which is fine.

Sleep aid

This genuinely helps me sleep through the night. I have struggled with insomnia and consequently experienced much anxiety, making restful sleep challenging. Melatonin, alongside L-theanine, has worked wonders. An hour before bed, I take a sleep aid and usually fall deeply asleep within half an hour. My sleep anxiety has decreased, leading to better sleep duration. I fully recommend this product.

l-Theanine shows promise against THC
We investigated the effects of l-theanine, an amino acid found in green tea, on the negative side effects of adolescent THC exposure. Our research used a preclinical model with male rats to see if l-theanine could prevent long-term behavioral and cognitive issues linked to THC exposure.

Findings showed that l-theanine effectively blocked these adverse effects, protecting brain function and regulating important neurotransmitter pathways. As cannabis use grows among adolescents, our study highlights l-theanine's potential as a protective treatment to minimize THC-induced risks.

We examined the role of targeted amino acid therapy, including l-theanine, in addressing mood disorders like anxiety and depression. Our case study focused on a 26-year-old woman with complex mental health challenges who, after struggling with conventional treatments, engaged in a personalized nutrition intervention. Over 12 weeks, she followed a tailored program that emphasized amino acids and specific nutrients.

The results were promising, showing significant improvement in her anxiety, depression, and other related symptoms. This suggests that integrating nutritional therapies may offer new hope for those affected by mood disorders.

Relieved sleep issues

This works VERY well. I've struggled with sleep issues for many years due to stress, back pain, anxiety, and other conditions. When I first tried it, I was a bit sceptical, thinking it was just another miracle pill. However, I was pleasantly surprised. After taking one pill an hour before bed, I felt groggy and well-rested the following morning. I awoke once during the night but fell straight back asleep. Since then, I've consistently enjoyed restful nights for nearly a month, thanks to these non-habit-forming pills with no known long-term side effects.

Eliminated insomnia
1 people found this helpful
Made all my dreams come true (Get it?). This is the best thing that's happened to me this year. I suffer from significant anxiety issues, and my insomnia was relentless. However, this is precisely what I've needed. I can hardly believe how much money I've wasted on sleeping pills. Just one of these, and I'm fast asleep! The best part is that I may be able to stop taking them because I feel sleepy by 9 pm. I've heard melatonin adjusts your sleep cycle rather than merely making you drowsy. Great buy!
