Don't underestimate the importance of Vitamin D!
I kept getting sick after moving further north (and limiting the time I spent in the sun). I would take vitamin C but kept getting colds. After a few tests, my doctor determined that I was deficient in vitamin D. I started taking a prescription dose of Vitamin D for a couple of weeks and once my levels were back to normal I stopped taking the prescription and started taking these regularly. That was about 2 years ago. Since then, my health has improved greatly. I think the vitamin D is a big reason why. If I ever feel a Cold coming on I take a larger dose (2 of these pills or a 5,000 IU pill) to prevent it
