Helps my Neuropathy
I don't have diabetes, a common cause of neuropathy, but have nerve damage as a result of accidents, etc. Anyway, will spare you the details, and cut to the chase. My friend has had problems with neuropathy for years and she takes Vitamin B-12 so I decided to try it and at least 95% of the problem went away. Then I started worrying I was taking too much, and decreased my dosage. Guess what, it came back. I saw a neurologist and he tested me with the result being what we both already deduced, neuropathy. He said it was mlld. If so, would hate to have a full blown case. And he told me not to worry, that I was not taking too much after all. If you have a more severe case there are prescription medicines available for relief, but there is no cure. Luckily at this point I don't need a prescription medicine. The B-12 is doing the trick. Incidentally, my blood screen did not reveal a B-12 deficiency, but the neurologist said not to worry, take it. Guess the blood screens aren't infallible? Who knows... Consult your own doctor of course. I also take an all purpose Multi B Vitamin mini "softget" cap made by the same company. I really like the "softget" caps, easy to go down and they work for me so win win
