I have been using Biotin for many years now. There are various recommendations for dosage, I find that my system functions best with 10.000MCG, twice per day..
As with ALL vitamins and supplements, this is not an overnight remedy. I have been using this for years. When I first began with usage, it took about six months to notice an observable difference in hair, nail, and skin quality.
My. nails began to grow faster, and were much harder. My hair was definitely of an improved quality. I did not obtain long, thick, golden tresses over-night, but after six months and beyond, my hair was of better quality, a bit thicker, and shinier. My facial skin was clearer, and seemed to be less dulled by blackheads.
BUT - please read my warning carefully. It takes your hair, nails, and skin a very long time to completely regrow, and to produce noticeable effects from any type of supplement. If a supplement is promising thicker hair in three weeks, great nails in two, and a perfect complexion in a week........that is a scientific impossibility.
This brand of Biotin is of reasonable price, good quality, and has maintained the hair, nail, and skin quality which has been caused by a multi-year use of this product.
I take it in the morning on an empty stomach, and have noticed no ill effects, my evening dose is with food. This is an excellent product, but do not expect miracles. You must eat healthily,, do not-over bleach your hair, and for goodness sakes avoid acrylic nails like the plague. Drink plenty of water, and take a good selection of multi-vitamins and minerals. For women, it is essential to consume 1200 mg. of calcium per day, along with vitamin D which allows it to be absorbed into your system.
If you do all of these things, and wait patiently, there is a good chance that this product will cause improvements in the areas mentioned. Again - it is from a reputable firm, of good quality, and has worked to maintain what I have been doing for several years. I recommend this as a worthwhile and fine product
