Nature's Bounty Vitamin C, Immune Support, 500mg, Capsules, 100 Ct

Easy to swallow

This is one of those products that is hard to rate because you mostly likely wouldn't know if you weren't getting the whole 500mgs, or if it was releasing all at once instead of over time. That being said, it's reasonably priced, and it's easy to swallow, which was my biggest reason in getting it. I like that it's time released too, and that is hard to find at the local retailers. Those big tablets that you find tend to stick in my throat, but I have never had that problem with these, and I am on my third bottle. I had a fairly major surgery twice in the span of two years, and the surgeon suggested that I take this to help with building my system back up. I would recommend this to anyone wanting a Vitamin C supplement

great product and price was good (but not cheapest)

I have to give this one 4 stars only because I have seen them sold cheaper locally. I was willing to pay extra because my local store did not carry them anymore and it wasn't worth driving across town to get them. Product is good quality and I strongly recommend time release vitamin C for those that take it. The time release is critical since vit c is water soluable and flushes out of your body fairly quickly

These capsules are way better than the chalky tablets.

I have to take vitamin C every day and I don't want to chew gummies and can't stand the chalkiness of the tablets. These capsules are absolutely perfect!

They are easy to swallow for those that don't like to take …

I have been purchasing these for a long time. I take one every day and rarely get sick. As a retired kindergarten teacher I came in contact with lots of germs and even survived 3 weeks of the flu in the family. As far as I'm concerned they help during the winter to ward off colds. They are easy to swallow for those that don't like to take pills

We love this vitamin C since it a time release capsule

We love this vitamin C since it a time release capsule and they are very easy to take. I don't like large pills and these are not hard for me at all. My husband takes several a day and swears this is a part of why he does not get sick when everyone around him is. Amazon is the only place I can still get it

My thoughts on Vitamin C supplements, and this in one

Facts about Vitamin C: 1) we need Vitamin C in our diet; 2) our bodies can store it in our livers; 3) scurvy takes months to develop in people who don't have any vitamin C (like sailors before scurvy was understood); 4) megadoses are hard on our bodies. From these facts, you can see that on days that you don't eat enough vitamin C in your diet, you might consider taking a supplement, but your stored supply in your liver will probably cover your needs. Occasionally taking a supplement like this one can ensure that you have enough stored. This brand gives you more than you need for a day, but not a rediculously excessive amount. I take one of these every week or so, or when I eat meat preserved with sodium nitrate/nitrite. Remember- too much of a good thing can become a bad thing
