Good Stuff

So I got diagnosed with COVID. Best two weeks of my life. Lost my taste of taste/smell, go to the doctor, boom COVID. Two week quarantine with my buddy at his place= two week paid vacation from work to drink beer and play video games. No other symptoms but the taste and smell thing. This isn't about COVID though its about the product. I took this coupled with a dosage of Vitamin-D3 and I felt healthy as an ox in no time, taste and smell came back after a few days too. I was able to enjoy my foods and beverages again. Easy to swallow, No bad flavors, Good product. Saved my life from COVID

Flu and Cold Free

Every Winter like clock work I get either the flu or a cold no matter how hard I try to avoid it like the plague. But living in New York City it's very hard to do especially when you take public transportation with everybody hacking and breathing in the same air. So upon the advice of a friend I decided to give this brand and Vitamin C a go and let me tell you I have yet to even get a sniffle. Update: 7/3/18...since taking this as a regular supplement I have not have a cold or flu since writing the original review. The moment I stop taking it and I feel a scratchy throat coming on I take 2 and like magic my scratchy throat is gone

Keeps wells but can be harder to swallow

This is a round tablet. It's not coated so it dissolves easily , but it may be harder for some people to swallow. It's important to take vitamin C in smaller doses so you absorb it. Taking 1000 mg at once means most of it will go right through you. I take this one twice a day to help with my skin, nails (it helps produce collagen) and my immune system. According to consumerLabs, there are studies that suggest it might provide future protection from Alzheimer's, strokes, heart (atrial fibrillation), and improve blood pressure. Works wonders, but not how you may think …

Let's see...how to be delicate. I don't use these orally. I use them to treat BV (I insert 1/2 pill into the VJJ weekly). I've been reading dozens of articles about how they change the pH down there, and eradicate BV. As a 40 years sufferer of BV (during which time, Drs. misdiagnosed it 99% of the time), I was willing to try anything. And voila...first time in 40 years, I am symptom free, after ONE day. It's the cheapest miracle on earth. BTW, others who use it for the same reason, insert 500 mg nightly for a few nights, but that dosage caused pretty significant burning (both inside and out, and caused a rash on my inner thighs), so I cut the dosage to 1/2 pill weekly, and it works perfectly. So, adjust your dose as you like. And if you find it starts to burn, just take a bath and the burning stops immediately. Chose this brand because it is contains no artificial color, flavor, sweetener, sugar, starch, lactose, milk, soy, gluten, wheat, yeast, fish or sodium. By the way, repHresh also works wonders (same effect of lowering pH to a level where "bad" bacteria cannot live), but at 100x the cost. I know, it sounds weird, but Google BV and Vitamin C :-

My new favorite brand of Vitamin C

I've tried a lot of different supplements, and I really enjoy this one. I like the smaller dose (500 mg instead of the usual 1,000 mg I see everywhere), and the pills are super easy to swallow and I think have a nice taste. As to how effective it is, it seems to work well and give me a boost; but I think this stuff is always hard to really tell with supplements because the effect could only be mental, or placebo

Never go without Vitamin C. It's run its course there was a Nobel prize for that work

Ascorbic acid Pults mucus. I went to a Seventh-day Adventist doctor and my children had strep throat and the other throat problem at the same time I wanted him to give them antibiotics instead he gave him vitamin C and said to take it with 8 ounces of water three or four times a day. I was upset because I paid him all that much for him to tell me to go home and take vitamin C for my kids. It's hard to get vitamin C down kids it had to be a score big acid by the way at that time I didn't know how why. I bought some in a gummy bears but really couldn't afford it I bought it in chewable I bought it in liquid etc. for the kids. But for me it was 1000 mg in 8 ounces glasses of water and it cured all the problems of tonsillitis and strep throat. They were ahead of the health food store in the area in the hospital and they know what they were doing I have a great respect for this religion because of this. I attended one of their classes also. But I'm never without vitamin C and this one I like I can keep up with just 500 mg I don't have to take a large amount as I do when I'm sick. I like this brand it seems to be doing OK for me

RUN do not walk.

If you have a sensitive stomach, run do not walk from this supplement. I have been taking vitamin C daily for the past 5 years, I pretty much stick to the same brand but wanted to try one without rose hip so I bought this one. After buying it I realized that I had bought this one in the past and after just taking it once I threw away the bottle because it made me feel so sick, but I thought well now I have the entire bottle, I have been taking it for many years, my tolerance might be higher and I will just take it with a lot of food. Well today I took my second one of these and I feel awful, my acid reflux is fared up, my stomach is burning, hurting, I am burping non stop, it is awful. I didn't even come on here to give a bad review I came to look at the engridients because how can this one be so much different then any other vitamin C only to find out that every post that has this specific brand has no ingredients listed, I guess they don't want peopl to know, will have to look at the bottle and hope that gives me some clue as to what could be causing this ill feeling. My stomach sounds and feels like it's fighting a war in there so I am definitly neveer buying this brand ever again. No thank you. UPDATE: Four days later and I am still not feeling well from taking this supplement and as I recall the same thing happened last time I took this brand. I am a healthy female in my 30s, I have made sure not to take any other supplement or do or eat anything different since I took this product so I know these symptoms are from this product. I am nauseous and the acid reflux is burning at my stomach like wildfire. I am not sure what they put in this stuff and I don't usually get so deep on these reviews but I need everyone to know to be careful with this one, because this isn't normal, this supplement is dangerous

Vitamin C

I learned many years ago that Vitamin C goes through the body very quickly. Also it makes little difference, unlike some vitamins and minerals, whether it is completely natural or manufactured C. I chose the Nature's Bounty since the company seems reliable, the price is reasonable and the dosage is not too high. As I understand it, if you take too big a dose it just goes right through your system without being used. It has been said for a long time that Vitamin C helps to keep from getting colds, etc. I don't know. I've heard now that vitamin D is actually better for this. In any case, I take some of each daily, it can't hurt, and I seldom get colds

Highly Rated Vitamin C Supplement

Nature's Bounty Vitamin C supplement gets an A rating from a company that tests the purity of the ingredients contained in various supplements (not sure I'm allowed to name that company, so I won't). I'm a big believer in taking vitamin C (and, yes, I know the efficacy of vitamin C is debatable, but I don't care) I take it daily, as does my wife. Vitamin C is becoming a bit pricey these days, so I had to shop around to get a better price. Whatever you do, don't strive for a better price by buying an untested version of vitamin C. Just shop for your best price on Nature's Bounty Vitamin C

I don't like the Flavor, but the rest is fine

I got this vitamins in order to improve my immune system and it has worked so far, I can say that I feel stronger every day and I have more energy. They only thing I don't like is that the pills are uncomfortable to swallow, even though they are not that big they hurt my throat and I need a lot of water, also the flavor is not really good, it stays in your mouth for a few minutes
