The Benefits of Ginger, Ovarian cancer Treatment
Ginger, a commonly used spice and herbal remedy, has been the subject of several studies exploring its potential role in preventing or assisting with Ovarian cancer However, there is limited evidence to definitively conclude whether Ginger is beneficial in this regard. While some studies have suggested that Ginger may possess anti-cancer properties, including inhibiting the growth of Ovarian cancer cells, more research is needed to establish its efficacy.
A study published in the BMC Complementary Medicine and Therapies Journal in 2017 investigated the effects of Ginger on the viability and growth of Ovarian cancer cells in the laboratory setting. The researchers found that Ginger extract significantly reduced the viability and proliferation of Ovarian cancer cells. However, it is important to note that this study was conducted in a controlled laboratory environment and does not necessarily translate to the same effects in the human body.
Another study published in the International Journal of Cancer in 2016 analyzed the potential association between Ginger consumption and Ovarian cancer risk. The study, which included data from over 145,000 women, found no significant link between Ginger intake and Ovarian cancer risk reduction. However, this study relied on self-reported Ginger consumption, which may be subject to recall bias and other limitations.
