I'm a huge advocate for Black Elderberry to prevent colds and flu. I only take it when I sense symptoms coming on—very rarely. I believe it's vital to start ingesting black elderberry within six hours, or the flu can take hold. This New Chapter product works well to help fight off colds or flu.

I take these instead of getting the flu shot. It’s a great product, flavourless and easy to swallow, though they're larger pills. I've been taking it daily and it has certainly helped me avoid the flu and other illnesses prevalent at the preschool where I work. Highly recommend.

Effective and affordable

Cheaper than Airborne and protects against illness effectively. I've been using Airborne at the first sign of a cold, but Elderberry proves just as effective as a hefty dose of Vitamin C. The pills aren't as fun (Airborne tablets fizz delightfully), but they are far more cost-effective than the overpriced Airborne at about $7 for just 10 small tablets! They come in a nice glass jar, which I find keeps the pills potent. With fluctuating temperatures, many around me have fallen ill, yet I've managed to avoid the flu by taking this at the first hint of chills or cough. I hadn’t realised Elderberry could rival high doses of Vitamin C, so I’m pleased to add this to my arsenal against flu and colds.
