The bottle has an expiration date of a year out. The bottle is a glass, amber bottle, perfect for storage of vitamins and easy to recycle. If only all of my other supplements would include all of the above! I love that the New Chapter uses organic products. I also am a huge fan of this company using the fermentation where they do. I am a believer in the value of eating something fermented daily and have not had a Cold or flu in many years. This is my first product from this company and after doing some research on their products, I will be refilling my supplements from their stock whenever I can
