Before you take any probiotic supplements, be sure you really need them.
Do you have gut issues? Constipation or diarrhea on a consistent basis? Do you take antibiotics frequently? Do you find you have frequent yeast infections? Probiotics might help you, but for others, it may not be a necessary supplement.

The jury (Harvard University) is still out on whether or not probiotics should be taken by the vast majority of people, but if you are prone to yeast overgrowth, take antibiotics on a regular basis or simply hope to boost your immune system they may be of benefit to you.
On the Harvard University Edu website I read:
The "good bacteria" (probiotics) may help healthy people but aren't formally recommended. Probiotics are "good" bacteria touted to help maintain digestive health and boost the immune system. You can take them in a dietary supplement or get them from food sources, such as yogurt.

That being said, I have fibromyalgia and struggle to keep yeast at bay. I also have struggled with general gut health, with both stomach and colon issues.
I take probiotics in the form of Activia yogurt and sometimes in pill form. The New Chapter brand is one I trust for other vitamins and supplements so I was excited to try their Probiotic All-Flora Whole-Food Probiotics.
The first thing I've noticed about these probiotic pills is that they don't upset my stomach as some others have in the past. I take them when I remember, and it doesn't have to be 'with food' which I like.
10 Billion cultures, once a day works for me. There are 30 vegetarian capsules - a 1 month supply - providing immune support, balancing healthy yeast cultures, and clinical strength for the best results.
I'm happy that these contain pre, pro, and postbiotics, meaning they start working at the top of your gut all the way through your digestive tract.
♦︎ ♦︎One thing to be aware of for perimenopausal and menopausal women though, it does contain fermented soy and this could make related symptoms such as hot flashes worse. Some is OK, but too much may have adverse effects so just keep it in mind. ♦︎♦︎

These probiotics are an excellent choice for men and women who cannot, or do not, take in milk products such as yogurt. They are GMO free and dairy free.
The capsules also contain Tumeric which has been shown to reduce pain and inflammation, making these capsules likely to help those with IBS symptoms.
But the inclusion of fermented soy will make this supplement one that women with menopausal symptoms or who are on hormone therapy may want to avoid.
I like this product and trust the brand for its quality and commitment to health. I also like that it can be easily consumed without tummy upset and doesn't need to be refrigerated. It also works throughout the digestive tract to add good bacteria and keep the bad stuff at bay.
