I am already in my postpartum phase so I don't have to take prenatal pills as religiously as when I was pregnant but I am taking them since I'm still nursing. I ran out of my current ones and was interested in these ones since it is for 35 . You can get the "normal" ones or the one for ages 35 . I compared the ingredients side by side because I wanted to see what was the difference in the 35 bottle. I noticed there is higher amount of certain vitamins such as Vitamin C, 84mg instead of 60mg. There were also ingredients that the "normal" one does not have, such as calcium and magnesium. I posted a photo of the side by side ingredients list, the 35 is on the right. I don't know if the slight amount of certain vitamins will make a huge difference but as of right now, the price between the two are the same so I personally would go ahead and purchase the 35 . If there was a huge price difference between the two types then I would hesitate and do more research. I also compared it with the current one I am taking and I'm a little disappointed as it has less mcg in quite a few of the categories. However, this is about $10 cheaper. I do appreciate that this is a one pill a day and not 2-3 like some. Prenatal pills are usually quite large in size so seeing this one wasn't a surprise. Overall I will give this a try as I do trust the New Chapter brand. I also appreciate that they have the 35 as there aren't many prenatal pills out there that are targeted for moms aged 35 and over

A High Quality Brand

I have had 4 babies and have tried quite a wide array of prenatal vitamins over the years. The one A-day vitamins certainly are a lot more convenient and are easy to take, especially during the 1st trimester when it is hard to get anything down. Here are my opinions on this particular brand: Pros: * The serving size is only one tablet per day, making it easy to take if you have morning sickness and can't bare to swallow multiple pills, several times a day. * I like that they have included Folate instead of Folic Acid. This is better utilized by the body. * The price is very reasonable. * Contains a digestive blend which helps your body absorb the ingredients. * Contains fermented ingredients Cons: * This doesn't have as large of a wide array of beneficial ingredients as some of the other prenatal vitamins that require you to take multiple pills throughout the day. * Your body is getting one single large dose at once instead of breaking the dosage throughout the day, which might cause some stomach upset and not be as effective, absorption wise. *Tablet is a bit large and is slightly hard to swallow. These are my thoughts into opinions on this particular supplement. I think it is important to note that I am not currently pregnant and do not plan on getting pregnant. I take prenatal is on a daily basis because of an auto immune disorder which requires me to take more concentrated supplements so that my body can absorb them properly. I have not experienced any stomach upset but I do take it right after breakfast on a full stomach

Hands down best prenatal

By far the best prenatal I have tried. You only have to take one pill which is nice and it has things like selenium and Choline. It doesn't overboard on certain vitamins as well. This is the only prenatal that has helped me stay regular and not have constipation in pregnancy which is a huge plus. I hate to rate it so high since it seems to be popular and hard to find but it is that amazing

Big difference!

This has a tiny gross taste, but you swallow it immediately and there's no after taste. After a month or two of using this, post-natal, I have seen a lovely improvement in my hair and nails, so I can only imagine how well it's working on the inside!! Definitely has a better quality than competitors and has better ingredients and vitamins that your baby needs. Wish I started taking this pre-natally

Hard to swallow

Product arrived very fast... sealed n clean.. I've taken new chapter prenatal pills before but decided to try the 35 for my age. This pill are much bigger n are very hard to swallow I break it in half n still can swallow it as easy as it is to swallow the regular prenatal pill..

Good, but upset stomach

Unfortunately these upset my stomach. I can only guess that it was the extra iron. Other than that these are a really good multivitamin

My go to prenatal

I took these throughout my pregnancy. I tried other brands but loved the price, ingredients and was of 1/day. Huge bonus that it has a good amount of vitamin D in it:

Made in US, easily absorbable, 1 daily

I'm 33 years old and my doctor suggested that I start taking prenatal vitamins. I decided to go with this because it's specially formulated for women 35 . New Chapter Vitamins are made in the US (Brattleboro, Vermont) and the company has been around since 1986. This is a trusted company and a quality supplement. The label is filled with organic ingredients and the supplement was made in a way that it is easily absorbable so that the goods can get passed onto baby. You're even getting a clinical dose of ginger and I constantly hear about how good ginger is for the body. I should mention, the vitamin is big, so you should mentally prep for that. While it is big, you're only taking 1 a day, which made it better for me

Compared to Perfect Prenatals: 1 pill vs 3 pills

I've been taking New Chapter Perfect Prenatals, and I've been happy with those. This formulation is slightly different and meant for mums 35 . The biggest differences I noticed: â€¢ 35 contains choline, PP does not â€¢ 35 dose is 1 large tablet daily, PP dose is 3 tablets daily â€¢ 35 has a "soothing digestive blend," PP has a "prenatal herbal blend" â€¢ There are other differences in the levels of other vitamins/nutrients in these. For me, I like that this is 1 tablet vs 3 per day. The tablet is larger, 0.9" long, but it can be cut in half if you need. The box says to take 1/2 in the morning and 1/2 later for nausea relief, so this may be especially useful in the 1st trimester. Exp 11/2
