Optometrist recommended – she was so right!

I went to my optometrist because I was having dry eye & other issues. She suggested this specific brand of fish oil. I tried to go cheap & order fish oil from Costco - NOT the same. It is really worth the money - after a month I could tell the difference (had more moisture). It's not cheap so a few months later I went off & was so mad at myself! These are really great. Put the Costco pill & this one in the freezer overnight - in the morning the Costco one is opaque while this one is clear. Difference is the purity - optometrist told me this but it took me a while to actually test it - she was so right!!!!!

Great natural

Been taking for over a year. Reduced my blood pressure and stiffness in my knees. Good stuff. Don't order in the summer and avoid heat effects on the capsules

Best after trying 5 brands

ONLY area I was too low was Vit D3, with extreme weakness, aches, digestion problems. Blood Tests showed range mid to high normal, including adrenals in all other tested areas. Multiple categories for each of 4 sets of tests. I tried more than 5 different natural and reputable brands of D3. The ONLY one that improved my condition (within 15-20 min.) was Nordic D3 ProOmega. I could tell when it wore off, and was taking it every few hours for first month, then okay for 2-3 hrs, now can take 2 a day, or even forget, because I feel so much better

These vitamins were recommended to me by my eye doctor for dry eyes. I had been thinking of taking Omega3s for heart health so I was happy to hear I could treat more than one thing with this supplement. It's a little on the expensive side but my doctor did a log of research on Omega3s and she told me that this brand was better than the others in that it met all of the minimum standards and was of high quality. After taking this supplement for over a year, I have to say that it really does work for my dry eyes. I'm no longer having to use lubricating drops several times a day. In fact, I go weeks without using them

Great product

I went to a naturopath doctor and he recommended these. I was taking Spectrum for several years and they are great too, but these are double the amount of EPA and DHA, so you don't need to take as many softgels. I've had no problem with after taste and, in my opinion, fish oil is one of the few supplements that are near miracles and great prevention. They are expensive, but as they say: pay the farmer now (or fisherman in this case), or pay the doctor later

Fish oil with vitamin D

I am using this for mild memory problems. My research for the best fish oil supplement turned up studies that showed this product was used in a real hospital for severe head trauma and that patient is recovering well. If it can heal neurons damaged by trauma, what can it do for physically undamaged brains like mine.

Not a reflection of quality or effectiveness… just cheesy misleading advertising.

I bought these after calculating the cost per gel based on my anticipated intake of 1000 to 2000 mg per day the advertised "1000 mg gels" per the website. These are NOT 1000 mg gel tabs. They are 500 mg gel tabs, with a "serving size" of 2 gels. So given what I was planning on taking as a daily dose, my cost per day just doubled because of misleading advertising. Not impressed

Won't be disappointed.

I'm through my 3rd bottle before writing this review. Each bottle came without any issues. No broken capsules or fishy smells. No fish burps or digestion issues. I really think they had a positive benefit to my joint health. Less aches and pains. No more creaky knees. I feel better mental clarity. I have tried other fish oils and definitely think these are the best I've tried so far

Love this brand for Omega 3's - does not leave fish breath or aftertaste. I love that it includes D3 so I don't have to buy that separately. Contains Lemon Oil, and in easy to swallow gel tablets (though they are quite big, I found them easy to use)

Good, but What Makes these Special?

The product itself is fine..it's good, really. The capsule size is easy to swallow, they seem to stay fresh throughout the use of the bottle. The company's product rates well for quality and purity. That said, what I don't understand (and suspect is nonsense) is that these pro-line versions of Nordic Naturals are somehow different from their Ultimate Omega version. These, in theory, are prescription versions if you look at Nordic Natural's website..yet, the ingredients and strengths are identical for every element. So, why pay significantly more for the pro-line when you can receive the exact same product from the Ultimate Omega
