We set out to explore how lactobacillus acidophilus, specifically strain B-2178, impacts vulvovaginal candidiasis (VVC) in female rats. By dividing our study subjects into five groups, we included controls and examined the effects of different treatments.
In particular, we analyzed the immune response of the vaginal tissue after intravaginal inoculation to establish VVC. The rats treated with strain B-2178 showed a promising ability to maintain an immune-tolerant state in the vaginal epithelium. Through this action, it seemed capable of reducing uncontrolled inflammation, which is often a challenge during candidiasis.

For Candidiasis, Lactobacillus acidophilus feeds Candida bacteria in the intestines. The capsule is easy to swallow. I've used other supplements and managed to handle summer safely. After a recent intake, I felt unwell at first, but realised it helps suppress Candidiasis.

I added it to a mixed supplement of 3 billion probiotics. I think my intestinal environment has improved with more acidophilus. I'm pleased to manage my constipation comfortably. It is said to work for Candidiasis, so I’ll recommend it to my family.

Useful bacteria
It is a beneficial bacteria to use after disinfection for the eradication of Candidiasis. I take Saccharomyces boulardii for this purpose.
