We explored a new targeted agent designed to treat atherosclerosis by focusing on macrophage-mannose receptors. This study tested the effectiveness and safety of a specially formulated nanoagent in a mouse model of atherosclerosis.

The agent showed a notable reduction in inflammation within the arterial plaques while being well-tolerated in terms of toxicity. We found it had good imaging capabilities, allowing for better visualization of macrophages linked to atherosclerosis.

Overall, this promising approach may improve both the diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases linked to atherosclerosis.

Mannose linked to heart risks
We explored how mannose levels relate to insulin resistance and cardiovascular health in a large group of participants. By analyzing data from 1,403 individuals, including those who suffered a heart attack, we found that high mannose was linked to increased risks of adverse cardiac events, regardless of glucose levels and traditional risk factors.

This suggests that mannose could serve as a novel marker to detect harmful changes in metabolic health that could lead to cardiovascular issues down the line. However, it is essential to note that this study highlights association rather than a direct cause-and-effect relationship.

WON CHRONIC CYSTITIS! I had cystitis since university, and it took a toll on my life. I regret not starting antibiotics sooner. Eventually, a gynecologist prescribed Nolicin, but after some time, E. coli returned. I tried every antibiotic available without long-term relief. Finally, I was tested for hormones and discovered low progesterone levels. Treatment with hormones was effective, leading to fewer exacerbations. I started using D-mannose from NOW Foods about nine months ago, and I haven't had a single exacerbation since! For me, this product is a miracle!

Goodbye cystitis! I discovered D-mannose based on reviews. It works just as well as antibiotics against Escherichia coli. Unlike antibiotics, D-mannose prevents harmful bacteria from adhering to the bladder walls. Combining this with cranberries and other supplements has been a powerful way to combat this disease. I advocate using it for at least a month, as results can be seen earlier. Highly recommend!

This has been my experience with D-Mannose. My last UTI was severe, and I was put on a course of antibiotics. I quickly began taking D-Mannose capsules and powder, alongside drinking plenty of water. Since then, I’ve had no infections and feel this product is a godsend. I am relieved to avoid further antibiotics for this condition!

D-mannose is exceptional for treating genitourinary infections caused by E. coli! I've dealt with chronic cystitis, urethritis, and pyelonephritis for over three years, experiencing relapses every couple of months. I consistently test my urine for E. coli, and when found, I turn to D-mannose. It works every time. Previously, I relied on various antibiotics that upset my stomach and led to thrush. Now, I tackle E. coli without harm to my body, and I take one capsule thrice daily for prevention after swimming or when I'm at risk of overcooling.

Prevents relapses effectively

Excellent! Mannose is essential for those with urinary tract and prostate gland issues. It works well as a daily preventative for chronic cases, or temporarily for acute situations. It effectively prevents relapses with daily use. Adding more cranberry extract could enhance results, but remember, dietary supplements alone won’t solve everything. A healthy lifestyle and nutrition are crucial; without these changes, the disease won't go away.

D-mannose is a lifesaver for cystitis. When I sense that cystitis is about to strike, I take D-mannose right away. It’s crucial to act before inflammation starts. My routine involves taking three capsules daily while drinking plenty of water to expel bacteria. D-mannose eliminates the bacterial infection linked to urinary tract disease without disrupting beneficial gut bacteria, and it has no side effects. I recommend taking one capsule daily as a preventative measure for urinary health.
