Great Caps.

These are great caps for the money. A bit large but its ok. I always test all supplements in a glass with a little vinager and warm water to see if the capsules desolve, to memic the stomach juice.If they don't desolve in 10-15 minutes in this mix or in plain water, I am wasting money in purchasing them and I return it for full refund. These capsules desolved quickly and I am pleased with them. So many supplements will not desolve in warm water with vinegar and it is eliminated from the body without being utilized. It trully is a waste of money so please do your homework and test out your newly purchased supplements/caps of any kind. I have a personal experience from this ordeal. I started testing all supplements when after I noticed that I was ELIMINATING the caps/supplement intact. You will be glad you did because then you'll know if you are utilizing them or not. If they don't desolve in water and vinegar, then they are not desolving in your gut

BUYER BEWARE -NO guarantee is NON- GMO!!

I make a continual effort to avoid all genetically modified food products. With this purchase, looks like I may have been stuck with a GMO cellulose capsule pak. I bought these Single "0" VCAPS naively thinking if they are vegetarian, they are non-GMO. But this is what it says on the package "...we strive for our natural food items to be fresh, Non-GMO (when possible)...In order to meet our demanding quality control standards, we choose to source our foods from respected farms and growers, using organic ingredients, when possible." So they appear to be high quality, but they include a disclaimer right on the package in leaving themselves an out to use GMO's. Do not assume you are buying non-GMO capsules. I went to the NOW site and found this statement: "Our main vegetable capsules are derived from tree fiber and are domestically sourced. A newer form of vegetable capsule is made from non-genetically engineered corn polysaccharides." My caps package ingredients says they are made of Hydroxypropyl methylcellulose. It also says it contains no corn. So I don't have the non-GMO product. Instead of pulling the GMO capsules from their distributors, it appears NOW is going to sell the GMO products they have in their inventories. People who go to the effort of filling their own caps are probably the kind of people who are conscious of what goes in their bodies. We must not settle for less than full disclosure, and health industry companies need to make clearly labeled non-GMO products available for the health of their customers. BUYER BEWARE

Make your own vitamins and herbal supplements

I use this to make my own vitamin and herbal supplements. I use my vitamix dry container to grind my roots or leaves to a fine powder and then fill capsules. You can also use a pill machine to fill the capsules if you like.The pills goes down easy and absorp well into your system. Also I purchase bulk supplements powders for certain nutrients like Vitamin B6 or better known as Pyridoxamine and Nattokinase a source of vitamin K2 and so forth.You can also put essential oils in the capsules a drop or two. Make sure it's therapeutic grade and that your oils are GRAS if you decide to go that route. With the non-regulated allowance the FDA give vitamin and herbal companies you never know what you're buying so you're better off making your own from a trusted source so you can maintain your body and stay in optimal health. The price is unbeatable and we all need to stay healthy especially since big food highjack our food supply by contaminating nearly 80% of our foods with gluten, GMO's and GMF's I highly recommend purchasing this product. ****** If you enjoyed my review please vote this review as helpful and feel free to ask me any additional questions and I'll answer them to the best of my abilities *****

great valued gel caps

I have a dog that I needed to give a liquid med to. Mixing the med into food/water was not going to work. Then I ran across this product, and it's a God send. It made administering the med much easier. I like the idea that the top and bottom of the gel cap is already assembled, so no searching for matching parts was needed; great value as well. No complaints and I am one happy customer and will reorder these from this vendor as needed

Easy to use

I bought these to pack some turmeric spice since I have no idea how to integrate it in my daily meals. I am not particularly fond of the taste of turmeric with everything so these little capsules do the job and more. No need for a machine to use them. No bad reactions

I use these to take my oregano essential oil. I just add four drops of the oregano plus some MCT oil to fill the rest of the capsule and dilute the oregano EO. Then I put them in the freezer. Have not had any issues with capsules leaking or dissolving. I got the 00 siz

Exactly what they should be.

I use these to encapsulate my own turmeric and pepper, cinnamon and Cayenne pepper. I have been very happy with these and when I run out I I'll be ordering them again. I have a small encapsulation machine. These fit perfectly into the little holes and the cap stays on really well. They also don't seem to dissolve as fast as some of the other pills I've taken which is really nice. I tend to take a few seconds longer than the average person to swallow a pill, so if they dissolve immediately I will be tasting the stuff I encapsulate. Kinda defeats the point of encapsulating it. These don't do that to me. I will probably be a lifetime customer as long as the quality and price don't change. I may try other kinds just to see if there is something better out there. But at this point the now foods brand more that meets my needs and expectations

It doesn't do any good to put supplements in a capsule if they go …

These capsules dissolve within 20 minutes completely when I put them in a solution of 1 cup water and 1 tsp vinegar. The ones I purchased from another company were still undissolved 70 minutes later! It doesn't do any good to put supplements in a capsule if they go straight through you. Love these. I just wish I could order them in massive quantities. LOL. I purchased 10,000 of the other brand. I'm trying to get a refund for those. I will purchase NOW from NOW on. :

did not melt in mailbox that was over 100 degrees F!

Upon ordering these one of the things I was actually worried about was that they would be melted in my mailbox by the time I got them. A silly worry maybe, but when it is over 100 degrees outside, and no doubt hotter in the mailbox, so was a legitimate concern. Thankfully they were not melted at all :) They were exactly as expected and a high quality product

Perfect for adding my essential oils to. Tops and bottoms attach easily and stay snug. They do not leak if I fill them early and do not take for a few hours. I will be adding again to my order again soon. I think they hold about 30 drops of essential oil. I would recommend
