Tea tree oil enhances ulcer healing
We investigated the potential of tea tree oil (TTO) in healing diabetic ulcers, specifically those infected with MRSA, by developing a new delivery system using TTO nanoliposomes that allow for slow release.

Our findings showed that this TTO-based system not only increased the concentration of active components but also effectively dispersed biofilms and killed MRSA without harming surrounding tissues.

Additionally, it improved the inflammatory response and promoted healing in mice with severe diabetic wounds. Overall, while TTO shows promise, further studies are needed to fully understand its effects in practical applications.
