MRgFUS success with scarred patients
We explored a method to enhance the treatment of symptomatic uterine fibroids in patients with abdominal scars using Magnetic Resonance Imaging Guided Focused Ultrasound Surgery (MRgFUS).

By utilizing paramagnetic iron oxide particles to visualize scars on MR images, we successfully navigated treatment while avoiding complications.

Out of 25 treated women, there were no adverse events, and a remarkable 92% experienced clinical improvement after six months.

This technique not only aids treatment but also opens doors for women who have previously been excluded due to scarring.

We evaluated whether iron treatment prior to hysterectomy could reduce the need for blood transfusions in patients with anemia caused by uterine fibroids. Our study included 134 individuals with fibroid sizes averaging 4 cm.

Although only 21 patients received iron, those who did showed a promising trend toward less reliance on transfusions after surgery, particularly when fibroid sizes were smaller than 5 cm. However, the overall results suggest that while iron may help, larger fibroids are still a key factor influencing transfusion needs.

Improved concentration

I started taking it due to uterine fibroids causing excessive bleeding, which made me anaemic. I used to get out of breath on stairs and struggled to keep up while commuting. I constantly felt tired and found it hard to concentrate. However, my treatment for uterine fibroids has improved my anaemia thanks to iron supplements. Now, I feel revitalised and can concentrate better. I plan to continue taking it until my iron levels are adequately restored.

Significant health improvement
I have dealt with anaemia for over 15 years, primarily due to familial tendencies from my mother and siblings. Thankfully, I am no longer anaemic. My doctor recently informed me that I don't need to take iron supplements except during my heavy menstrual periods associated with my uterine fibroids. My health has improved remarkably, and this brand is my preferred high-quality choice.

Improves physical ability
I have been dealing with iron deficiency due to uterine fibroids for some time. After taking this supplement for two weeks alongside vitamin C, I started noticing significant improvements. I can now cycle up a gentle hill and feel energised while enjoying outdoor activities. I prefer this to prescribed iron tablets that upset my stomach. Highly recommended.

Effective constipation remedy

I require repeat treatment due to heavy menstruation caused by uterine fibroids. Although I usually have regular bowel movements, the iron supplements from the hospital lead to constipation, whereas this supplement has been easier on my system. I have been taking 18mg regularly and 36mg during heavy bleeding. However, the similar labels for both dosages make it difficult to differentiate them. I wish the labelling was clearer.
