Effective pancreatin in canine diarrhea
We investigated how pancreatin, derived from pigs, impacts diarrhea in a Maltese dog suffering from exocrine pancreatic insufficiency. The dog had chronic diarrhea, excessive hunger, weight loss, and foul-smelling feces. After beginning treatment with porcine pancreatin powder, we saw a complete resolution of the dog's clinical signs. This case highlights the potential effectiveness of oral pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy in managing similar gastrointestinal issues in dogs.

Pancreatin reliefs symptoms effectively
We observed how pancreatin, an enzyme replacement therapy, impacts patients suffering from diarrhea due to exocrine pancreatic insufficiency related to chronic pancreatitis. In a year-long, multicenter study, we evaluated symptom changes and quality of life in 294 patients, with some already on pancreatin and others newly diagnosed.

Both groups reported a significant reduction in gastrointestinal symptoms and pain after one year, alongside improved quality of life scores. The treatment was particularly effective for those who were new to pancreatin, showcasing a clear benefit in managing their symptoms.

We looked into how exocrine pancreatic insufficiency (EPI) affects patients after esophagectomy. By measuring fecal elastase-1 in 63 postoperative patients, we found that 10 had significant EPI, all showing improvement when given pancreatic enzyme replacement therapy (PERT). In another group with mild EPI, some also reported symptom relief, though fewer experienced weight gain. Our findings suggest that EPI can worsen recovery after esophagectomy and point to the potential benefits of PERT, although further formal studies are needed to solidify these insights.

Diarrhea resolved

Diarrhea gone. After ten years of constant diarrhea and trying various diets and pills, I found grass-fed pancreas pills. The diarrhea vanished, remarkably. However, they were too pricey, so I looked for alternatives and found this product. I now take more than the recommended dose, and it works effectively.

Pancreatin improves symptoms of diabetes
We examined the case of a 50-year-old man with a long history of high blood sugar and diarrhea due to complications from pancreatitis and surgery. He was diagnosed with pancreatic diabetes and received insulin, along with pancreatin and micronutrient supplements.

After treatment, he experienced relief from diarrhea and improved blood glucose control. This highlights the importance of recognizing pancreatic diabetes and the potential benefits of pancreatin in managing related symptoms.

Proper intervention and monitoring are crucial to avoid further complications.

Combizym significantly reduces dyspepsia symptoms
This study evaluated how well Combizym works to relieve dyspepsia symptoms in Chinese patients, using a randomized, placebo-controlled design.

We observed 151 participants split into two groups for treatments, with significant symptom reduction in the group receiving Combizym.

The results showed an impressive efficacy rate of about 90% for Combizym compared to just 22% for the placebo. Symptoms like diarrhea, abdominal pain, and belching were notably improved.

Notably, no adverse effects were reported, highlighting the safety of Combizym for dyspepsia relief.

Life saver

A miracle. This stuff was an absolute life saver for my mum. She suffered from extreme diarrhea for years after gall bladder surgery, and nothing, not even Imodium, helped. Within days of taking these, her stomach was fine. An absolute miracle, and I'm so grateful!

Totally healed

Miracle Medicine! I'm thrilled I found this. After my gall bladder removal ten years ago, I suffered from daily diarrhea. Multiple doctors had little to offer until I tried this. It completely transformed my situation; now I go once a day without urgency or cramping. I initially took more but found that just one daily is perfect. I regrettably wish I’d known about this long ago.

I tried various digestive aids, believing my digestion was weak, but this pancreatin worked wonderfully. I can tell my food is digested within an hour, and I haven’t had diarrhea since starting it.

My watery diarrhea has improved since taking this digestive enzyme after each meal. Although I still struggle at times, it has helped me return to soft stools. This has been a lifesaver for my daily struggles with diarrhea.

Greatly helped me
Tried so many things to combat recurring diarrhea and constipation, but taking this has significantly helped. I drink it after every heavy meal.

Limited effectiveness
Initially, pancreatin alone cured my watery diarrhea, but its effectiveness waned. My doctor prescribed Mactase, yet that wasn't sufficient alone either. Taking them together has improved things slightly. I intend to keep purchasing them.

Improved digestion
My stomach feels better now. I used to experience diarrhea every morning, likely due to excessive alcohol and greasy food consumption. Since I began taking this, it has improved. I no longer feel heavy in the mornings and my digestion seems to function properly. I don't take it daily, but it's a useful supplement for when I'm unwell.

Pancreatin aids giraffes' diarrhea
We investigated the impact of pancreatic enzyme supplements, specifically Pancreatin, on giraffes suffering from diarrhea. The study involved four affected giraffes and three healthy ones, examining fecal enzymes like amylase and lipase.

We found that those with diarrhea had significantly lower levels of these enzymes. After administering Pancreatin, the giraffes showed improvement in their clinical condition and fecal enzyme levels. This indicates that Pancreatin can effectively aid giraffes with diarrhea linked to pancreatic insufficiency.
7
Pancreatin shows partial efficacy
We evaluate pancreatin's effectiveness in addressing diarrhea associated with pancreatic insufficiency. Using eight tablets of pancreatin during meals rich in fat typically eliminates azotorrhea and provides improved nutritional status and symptom relief.

However, while diarrhea often improves, steatorrhea may persist. For patients who still struggle with weight loss and diarrhea despite dietary adjustments, adding cimetidine can further help. In challenging cases, adjusting the dosage schedule or using specialized formulations may be necessary to optimize results.
