This is a godsend for diverticulitis. After a serious bout earlier this year, I wanted to return to a normal diet after numerous flare-ups. I discovered this old Chinese remedy online and started with the powdered form, followed by capsules. Now, I take six capsules daily, and I’ve had no flare-ups since. I can eat normally again!

By the next day, I noted improvements over the following 10 days. I found that taking a pill in the morning guarantees a bowel movement by evening. Excellent for diverticulitis and diverticulosis. I attribute my recovery from a severe bout of diverticulitis over a year ago to Slippery Elm. I now take 2 capsules before each meal with a glass of water to prevent any irritation and swelling related to diverticulitis, and I have not experienced a flare since.

Slippery Elm is excellent for managing various bowel complaints, including IBS and diverticulitis. I find that taking two capsules daily maintains my gut comfort. However, during severe flare-ups with pain and bloating, I can take up to two capsules four times daily until the issue is under control. This brand offers good value for money.
