Reduced reflux

A good product that has helped with gastritis. My reflux has decreased significantly. The size of the capsules is medium, and I find the ingredients of slippery elm bark quite interesting—mucus, tannins, fibre, and vitamins C, B, K, A, along with trace elements like calcium and magnesium. The quality looks good and I take 2 capsules in the morning on an empty stomach. One great benefit is that the bitter taste in my mouth has disappeared.

My jar is a lifesaver! It aids in healing the mucous membrane during gastritis and regulates my stool without causing constipation. It also assists with reflux stomach disease. I take it at night on an empty stomach, washing it down with water. Elm produces mucus that can thwart nutrient absorption, so I ensure to take it in the evening. It’s beneficial for leaky gut syndrome, and although my doctor has not confirmed this diagnosis, I use it just in case!

This additive truly works; I take it periodically at night by mixing the contents of the capsule in warm water for better absorption. After a month of use and subsequent gastroscopy, my stomach was clear, and even the gastritis seemed to have resolved. These capsules are now a staple in my first aid kit.
Gastritis is an inflammation of the stomach lining, which can lead to a range of symptoms including abdominal pain, nausea, vomiting, and indigestion. This condition can be acute, arising suddenly and lasting for a short period, or chronic, developing gradually and persisting over time. Various factors can contribute to gastritis, such as excessive alcohol consumption, prolonged use of nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), bacterial infections (most notably Helicobacter pylori), and autoimmune disorders.
Treatment for gastritis often focuses on addressing the underlying cause and might include medications to reduce stomach acid, antibiotics for infections, and lifestyle modifications like avoiding irritating foods and beverages. While many people recover from gastritis with adequate care, it's important to consult a healthcare professional for a proper diagnosis and treatment plan. If left untreated, gastritis can lead to more serious complications, such as stomach ulcers or even an increased risk for gastric cancer.
Slippery Elm, scientifically known as Ulmus rubra, is a deciduous tree native to North America known for its distinctive, smooth inner bark. Traditionally, this inner bark has been utilized for various medicinal purposes, primarily due to its high mucilage content, which becomes gelatinous when mixed with water. This unique property makes slippery elm a popular ingredient in herbal remedies, particularly for soothing digestive issues, coughing, and sore throat symptoms. The tree itself can grow up to 100 feet tall and thrives in moist, well-drained soils, often found near rivers and streams.
In addition to its medicinal uses, slippery elm has been crafted into lozenges, capsules, and teas, making it accessible for those interested in herbal health solutions. It's important to note that while many people find relief using slippery elm products, any herbal remedy should be approached with caution. Potential users should consult healthcare professionals, especially if they are pregnant, nursing, or taking other medications. As with any supplement, individual reactions can vary, and understanding the proper dosages and potential side effects is crucial for safe usage.
Slippery elm (Ulmus rubra) is an herbal remedy that has been traditionally used to soothe digestive tract irritations, including conditions like gastritis. Its main active component, mucilage, forms a gel-like substance when mixed with water, which can help coat the stomach lining and provide a protective barrier against stomach acids. This calming effect may alleviate some of the discomfort associated with gastritis and promote healing of the gastrointestinal tract after irritation has occurred.
While there is anecdotal support for the use of slippery elm in managing gastritis symptoms, scientific studies specifically investigating its efficacy for this condition are limited. If considering slippery elm as a treatment option, it's essential to consult with a healthcare professional, especially if you are taking other medications or have existing health conditions. They can offer personalized advice and ensure that this natural remedy is appropriate for your specific health needs.
