Bromelain shows promise against arthritis
We explored a new way to deliver bromelain, a natural enzyme, using nanostructured lipid carriers (Br-NCs).

Our research aimed to improve bromelain's stability and effectiveness in managing rheumatoid arthritis.

The study showed that Br-NCs significantly reduced joint swelling and stiffness in preclinical trials.

These carriers also enhanced bromelain's shelf-life and showed promise as a novel treatment option for arthritis.

Glucosamine-bromelain combo shows promise
We evaluated the effects of a new glucosamine combination, which includes bromelain, on cartilage damage in rats induced by formalin. The study involved different groups of rats, including a control group, and assessed various biochemical and gene expression markers after 30 days of treatment.

Our findings showed that the new combination significantly reduced markers of inflammation and oxidative damage while improving antioxidants compared to the control group. Notably, this new formula helped protect cartilage, indicating its potential clinical relevance for osteoarthritis treatment. However, the standard glucosamine combination did not demonstrate similar benefits.

We aimed to understand how bromelain, an enzyme from pineapples, affects knee osteoarthritis (OA) over a 16-week period. Our randomized, single-blind pilot study involved 40 participants who received either bromelain or diclofenac.

While both groups showed improvements in pain and function after four weeks, no significant differences emerged between the treatments. By week 16, bromelain users showed some enhancements in WOMAC scores and reductions in oxidative stress markers. However, bromelain didn't significantly outperform diclofenac in relieving OA symptoms.

For my osteoarthritis, this really works! After trying many methods, I've noticed a significant drop in pain while taking Bromelain. Transitioning from sitting to standing is much easier now. Highly recommend for arthritis sufferers who can't take aspirin.

Bromelain improves osteoarthritis quality of life
This pilot study focused on whether a food supplement containing bromelain and Boswellia could enhance the quality of life for osteoarthritis (OA) patients. Over 49 participants took the supplement for 1 to 6 months and reported on their daily activities.

We found that, after treatment, 7 out of 10 questions regarding patient quality of life showed significant improvements, especially in the joints most affected. Notably, no adverse effects were reported.

These findings suggest that this combination may serve as a helpful, non-drug option for OA patients, paving the way for further research.

Bromelain shows potential for arthritis relief
We evaluated how a blend of three natural ingredients—Devil's claw, turmeric, and bromelain—could help alleviate osteoarthritis pain. Conducted in eight rheumatology centers, the study looked at both acute and chronic pain experienced by 42 participants, mostly women around 67 years old.

After taking AINAT capsules, patients reported a significant reduction in joint pain within three days for acute cases and 60 days for chronic cases. With an excellent safety profile, this natural remedy offers a promising alternative to conventional painkillers for those suffering from joint discomfort.

Bromelain shows promise for knee pain
We explored how bromelain affects mild acute knee pain in healthy individuals. This study involved volunteers taking either 200 mg or 400 mg of bromelain per day for a month.

The results were promising: both dosage groups reported significant reductions in pain and overall improvement in well-being. The high-dose group experienced even greater benefits, suggesting that more bromelain leads to better outcomes.

However, further double-blind, placebo-controlled studies are necessary to confirm these findings and fully understand bromelain's role in joint health.

Significant pain relief

Bought these for floaters but they ended up helping my arthritis in hands. I initially wanted to get rid of the numerous floaters in my eyes, which did not improve. However, they significantly reduced the arthritis pain in my hands. Each morning, I take one on an empty stomach and the pain has almost gone—about 90% reduced. If I skip doses, the pain returns. I'm nearly finished with this bottle and have ordered more. I'm very pleased, although I wish it helped with the floaters too.
