We investigated whether a treatment combining epigallocatechin gallate (EGCG), vitamin D, and D-chiro-inositol (DCI) could enhance surgical outcomes for women undergoing laparoscopic myomectomy for uterine fibroids.
Our study involved 91 women who were either given the supplement combination or remained untreated. Results showed that those treated had shorter surgery times and less blood loss compared to the control group.
Overall, this treatment demonstrates promise as a safe method to improve surgical experiences for women with uterine fibroids while not impacting liver function.
