Evening primrose oil helped me immensely during my third pregnancy. I am now expecting my fourth, so I quickly bought evening primrose oil. I used to take a different product but chose this one due to its animal gelatin content. The quality is good, and I recommend starting at 36 weeks with one capsule in the evening, increasing weekly. It softens the cervix and reduces the pain of contractions, but the capsules are quite large, which may be an issue for some.
