I recently caught a rotavirus and had a fever, children suffered from vomiting and diarrhea with temperatures between 37-38. I administered one capsule three times a day for myself and gave two to my children aged 6 and 11; one received one to two capsules and the other three times a day. It well helped, along with herbal teas and water, although we hardly ate.

I experienced severe diarrhea while using this. I have suspended its use. It appears that according to webMD, diarrhea is one of the potential side effects of this herb.
