[Clinical study for the evaluation of the tolerability of O-(beta-hydroxy-ethyl)-rutoside in the treatment of hemorrhoids during the 3d trimester of pregnancy and in the postpartum period].
We looked into how effective O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside, a form of rutin, is for treating hemorrhoids during pregnancy and after childbirth. Over 14 days, 42 women took 3 g of this treatment each day.
Remarkably, 95% of participants showed positive improvements, with significant reductions in pain— a key symptom.
The treatment was deemed highly tolerable, with no patients needing to stop. These findings suggest that O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside can provide effective and safe relief for women experiencing hemorrhoids during this critical time.

This works wonders for hemorrhoids! As a mother of three, I've struggled with hemorrhoids for years. After reading reviews, I decided to try this supplement. I started with two capsules but quickly realised one was better for me. After a week, I could see a noticeable difference in my hemorrhoids, and within four weeks, most discomfort was gone. Although not completely healed, the pain has disappeared!

I was contemplating surgery because I had one of the worst hemorrhoids I'd ever experienced, lasting months despite trying everything. Using this with Dr. Cole's Hemorrhoid Treatment and sitz baths, my hemorrhoids are now completely gone. I couldn't sleep or sit without pain, but now, it's all behind me. I'm so pleased I tried this.

This is truly an anti-hemorrhoid miracle. After suffering for years, I thought there was no cure. I tried numerous remedies that either did nothing or made it worse. Finally, I tried Rutin, and if you have hemorrhoids, I highly recommend it! The relief was incredible; my pain level went from a 9/10 to a 1/10. It took about two weeks to work. I continue to take it daily, and it has made my life much more comfortable.

An excellent preparation, especially when combined with Rutin, Vitamin C, and Horse Chestnut. The result is almost immediately visible; you don't have to wait long! Hemorrhoids, also known as piles, are swollen and inflamed veins in the rectal area that can cause discomfort, pain, and bleeding. They can occur both internally, located within the rectum, and externally, under the skin surrounding the anus. Factors contributing to the development of hemorrhoids include straining during bowel movements, prolonged sitting, obesity, pregnancy, and a low-fiber diet. Symptoms can range from painless bleeding during bowel movements to itching, irritation, and protrusion of tissue during straining.
While hemorrhoids are a common condition and often manageable with lifestyle changes such as increased fiber intake, hydration, and regular exercise, severe cases may require medical treatments, including topical medications or surgical options. It's essential to consult a healthcare provider for proper diagnosis and treatment, especially if you experience significant pain or bleeding, as these could signal more serious conditions. Managing hemorrhoids effectively often involves a combination of preventive measures and appropriate medical care.
Rutin is a naturally occurring flavonoid, a type of plant pigment, found in various fruits, vegetables, and grains. It is particularly abundant in foods such as buckwheat, apples, citrus fruits, and onions. Known for its antioxidant properties, Rutin is often associated with numerous health benefits, including reducing inflammation, strengthening blood vessels, and improving circulation. Some studies suggest that it may help alleviate symptoms related to allergies and support overall cardiovascular health.
Rutin, a flavonoid found in various fruits and vegetables, is often touted for its potential health benefits, including its anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. While there is limited direct scientific research specifically addressing rutin’s efficacy in treating hemorrhoids, some studies suggest that flavonoids like rutin may contribute to vascular health. By strengthening blood vessels and reducing inflammation, rutin could potentially help alleviate the discomfort associated with hemorrhoids. It may also improve circulation and reduce swelling, making it a point of interest for those suffering from this common ailment.
However, it's important to note that while rutin might offer some benefits, it should not replace conventional treatments or medical advice for hemorrhoids. Over-the-counter treatments, dietary changes, and proper hygiene are commonly recommended first steps. If you are considering adding rutin to your regimen for hemorrhoids, it's a good idea to consult with a healthcare professional for personalized advice. They can provide guidance on appropriate dosages and legitimate sources of rutin, ensuring it complements your overall treatment strategy.

The supplement appears to have scientific support for treating hemorrhoids, particularly those containing ingredients like rutin and flavonoids. A study involving a six-component dietary supplement showed significant improvements in pain relief and symptom reduction, including itching and burning, for patients with stage II and III hemorrhoids compared to standard treatments [1]. Furthermore, another study that focused on a compound combining rutin and vitamin C reported that 89.8% of participants experienced a reduction in their hemorrhoidal symptoms, demonstrating its effectiveness and safety [2].
Additionally, a systematic review of 24 studies covering multiple trials concluded that phlebotonics, including rutin, significantly alleviated symptoms like itching and bleeding [5]. Other studies also noted the effectiveness of mixtures containing rutin, particularly for pregnant women, indicating a safe profile with substantial symptom relief [10], [9]. Overall, the current evidence suggests that this supplement is not just beneficial but may be a reliable option for individuals seeking relief from hemorrhoid symptoms.

The optimal dose for Rutin in treating hemorrhoids appears to vary slightly based on specific formulations, particularly related to its form and the patient population. One notable study indicated that O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutoside, a specific form of rutin, was administered at a dose of 3 grams per day. This regimen was associated with significant improvement in symptoms among participants suffering from hemorrhoids during pregnancy and post-partum, with a remarkable 95% of patients reporting positive outcomes [9]. Other studies have also indicated positive effects with various dosages of phlebotropic formulations including rutin, showing a tendency for both safety and efficacy without notable side effects [3].
For those considering the incorporation of rutin into their treatment protocols, particularly in the form of O-(beta-hydroxyethyl)-rutosides, it is advisable to consult with a healthcare provider for specific dosing recommendations tailored to individual health needs. While the studies highlight the potential benefits, especially for pregnant women, caution is suggested until further evidence solidifies its widespread use [6].

I took rutin years ago for hemorrhoids, which completely disappeared, so I stopped. A year ago, they returned, and upon resuming rutin, I was pleasantly surprised not only to see the hemorrhoids vanish again but also to notice improvements in chronic venous insufficiency around my ankle and calf. I increased my dosage from one cap a day to two and, after several months, most of the vein issues have resolved. It's been a slow process, but the results are undeniable. I will continue taking rutin daily, as Now Foods is the only brand I trust.

I successfully dealt with my hemorrhoids after childbirth. Following the advice of gynecologist Garbuzova, I took Rutin to combat thrombosis and the formation of hemorrhoids. Those struggling with this issue will find it's not a problem at all!

Rutin shows potential for hemorrhoids
Conservative management of symptomatic and/or complicated haemorrhoids in pregnancy and the puerperium.
We aimed to assess the effectiveness of conservative treatments, particularly oral rutosides, for relieving symptomatic hemorrhoids during pregnancy and after childbirth. Our review included two studies with 150 women, comparing rutosides against a placebo.
The results were encouraging, showing rutosides significantly reduced hemorrhoidal symptoms. However, despite these promising outcomes, we recommend caution in using rutosides until further safety evidence is available. Traditional methods like dietary changes were not thoroughly evaluated, leaving questions about their effectiveness.
