Cleared clog ducts so quick!

I've been struggling with clogged ducts almost nonstop for three months, just getting over mastitis with an Abscess and got hit with a huge clog in my other breast. Normally I can massage/heat/ pump them out but this one just kept getting bigger. I took three of these spread out over an afternoon and it cleared it right out. I honestly didn't have much faith it would work like everyone said it would but I was amazed! It's only been a day of having these but already worth the mone

I take this religiously. I had a large Abscess removed from my breast and kept having clogged ducts- not easy to massage them out when they're next to a huge open wound. At first I was just taking this when I'd remember or when I'd feel a lump or a bout of mastitis coming on. It actually started working when I took it 4 times a day. I was pumping/nursing every 3 hrs (because, fun fact: milk will come out of the wound if you get engorged preventing it from healing) so In the middle of the night I'd take one and eat a snack with it. Basically taking one every 6 hours. My wound is closed now and I haven't had a full blown clogged duct in months. I'm down to 3 a day now. I did get busy one week and only took one a day for several days.. and felt a lump coming up. I started taking 4 a day for about 5 days and now back to 3. My advice is to put these in a daily pill case if possible, or something to help your tired mom brain remember how many you've taken. Because if taken correctly, sunflower lecithin will greatly improve your breastfeeding experience. Side note: I read on the internet that sunflower lecithin increases the fat content of your milk. I have no idea if this is true! I do have a veeery healthy EBF baby though

I love this product. I had a long history of mastitis and plugged milk ducts, which includes an Abscess and breast surgery with my 2nd child. I started on this lecithin three days after I brought my 3rd child home from the hospital and after a year of successful breastfeeding and approximately 15 incidents of plugged ducts, I'm happy to report no cases of mastitis. Because of my history, I was maybe overly paranoid, however my daily regiment was 6 a day. I took 2 with breakfast and dinner and then 2 more after my baby's last feeding at night. When I had plugged ducts I doubled that, so between 8-12 depending on severity. Along with heat and massage, I was back to normal, pain free in about 2-3days. I wish I had known about this with my other kids! I highly recommend this product for breastfeeding mammas!
