Vitamin K-dependent GAS6 enhances remyelination
We investigated the role of GAS6 in promoting remyelination, particularly in relation to vitamin K's effect on a type of receptor.

Our findings highlight that GAS6 needs to be modified through vitamin K for proper function.

When introduced to wild-type mice, this treatment significantly increased the number of myelinated axons compared to a control group.

However, in mice lacking the specific Tyro3 receptor, no significant improvement was noted. This indicates that Tyro3 is crucial for the effectiveness of GAS6 in aiding recovery for conditions like multiple sclerosis.

We explored the effect of vitamin K3 on fibrosis in lupus nephritis (LN), a serious complication of systemic lupus erythematosus. The study analyzed kidney biopsy samples and lupus-prone mice, looking particularly at the SIAH2-LATS2 pathway.

Our findings revealed that vitamin K3 can effectively protect against renal fibrotic damage by inhibiting the degradation of LATS2, a protein crucial for controlling fibrosis progression. This suggests a potential new treatment avenue for patients suffering from LN.

We explored the effectiveness of apixaban compared to vitamin K antagonists (VKAs) in preventing thromboembolic events in patients with antiphospholipid syndrome (APS).

In a study involving 152 patients, we tracked complications over a median of 53 months.

The results showed that thromboembolic events were similar between those on apixaban and VKAs, indicating no significant advantage for vitamin K treatment in this context.

Both treatments posed comparable risks for bleeding, suggesting apixaban might be a viable option for some APS patients.

Improved vitamin levels

Just what I needed! Since I began taking K2, my vitamin D levels have risen into the normal range. I previously took vitamin D alone for a year with no changes. After adding K2, my levels increased over 100 points within three months! I found the mk7 version caused anxiety and insomnia, so I switched to mk4 without any negative side effects. I'm very pleased with this product and will order it again.

Effective dosage
Vitamin K2 in the mk4 formula is combined with vitamin D3 in a high dosage to ensure calcium is absorbed into bones instead of soft tissues, thus protecting blood vessels. I appreciate the excellent price-quality ratio, as K2 from other brands is pricier. I believe maintaining a sufficient K2 level can reduce fracture risk by 80% and help with autoimmune disorders. It's essential to take K2 with fat-containing food for maximum benefit.

I take 100-200 mcg of this vitamin K2 with my daily vitamin D3 (8000-10,000 IU) to address my autoimmune disorder and support bone health. The price for this quality product is very reasonable.

Health improved
The endocrinologist advised me to take vitamin K2 to normalise my metabolism. After two courses with this product, my health has improved, and the absorption of vitamin D3, which I struggled to raise to normal levels, has significantly increased. I am happy with the results.
