Exactly what I needed — four Rx per day, each day can be removed, case to carry full week

As noted in my stars -- overall, these are the BEST PILL CASES I have found so far! There are a few things I would change -- slightly larger compartments (would rebuy if a 25% larger set was available!), a clear holding case, and easier-to-read and label for my own times compartments. I literally have four of these :-D and they make EVERYTHING easier for me for both home and travel use. WHAT I LIKE = [1] I was so glad to find a four-a-day Rx case! [2] Being able to remove each day to carry with me is very important; each day is very easy to remove and the lids stay closed in my pocket without any problem. [3] The case which holds all seven days also closes well and is very efficient -- just the right dimensions to hold all of the individual days with a little bit of room to make it very easy to remove a day. [4] I also like that I can order the days in the sequence I need -- for example, if I travel for a few days and am leaving on Wednesday, I can set the case up to hold Wednesday to the following Tuesday. [5] I like having the by-day and by-dose visuals as I can then review whether I have taken my meds each day. [6] On days where my dexterity is not great, both the holding case and the four compartments on the daily cases are pretty easy to open as there's a well-defined ridge / clasp which I can pull or press up to open the case / portion. [7] Corollary being that the holding case and individual portions stay closed in my bag / pocket -- which is a great relief and improvement over others that have those press-release tabs which can open accidentally. I don't find I need to put these into a tightly-fitting bag to ensure they stay closed, so long as I have them in a structured space like pocket by itself, case in bag with book / laptop / other support (versus jumbling around in a loose bag). TIP for those of us who receive 30 day supplies = I bought four of these so I can make sure I have all of the Rx and supplement amounts which I need for the next four weeks -- this has been VERY HELPFUL for me to get a view of what refills or purchases I need to make in the next few weeks. WHAT I WOULD CHANGE = [1] I wish the compartments were slightly larger -- especially the first and last of the four per day -- as I have more things I need to take first / last (every 12 hours) and have to specifically place my Rx, vitamins, and supplements to make sure the lid will close. [2] I wish the case was clear rather than a dark smoked grey; being able to see the individual day cases through the cover would be better for me. I have had to label the covers of each of the cases so I know which week it is (one through four). I have to open the case and pull out each day to see whether I have everything I need in each container. [3] I wish the labeling on the four compartments was higher contrast -- the thin black text on the VERY NICE bright colors is very hard to read. [4] I wish the labeling on each of the four compartments was VERY SIMPLE like numbers - 1, 2, 3, 4 -- or letters -- A, B, C, D -- rather than the busy "time of day" text and icon. [5] I think the day of the week -- e.g., Mon, Tue, etc -- does not need to be on each of the four compartments; put it on the first one at the top and keep extra space on each of the compartments. [6] Recommendation for compartment labels = top-align; day of week only on first compartment; LARGE NUMBERS which are in turn likely to be able to be felt by those of us with vision limitations; CONSIDER ADDING BRAILLE RAISED NUMBER DOTS; do not put time-of-day; leave space (at least half of available surface) for labelling by marker or label for time-of-day. TIP for those of us with specific hours of day to take each portion = I used a label maker and printed out a chain of seven (7) of the times I need to take my meds, clipped them out as essentially very small stickers, and applied to each compartment -- now, I have high-contrast (black text on white background) on each compartment with added benefit of being able to see the labels through the dark gray case. NOTE: I would also print out Mon, Tue, etc. labels if I were to do it again and apply those to the top of the first compartment; I cannot read the day and it is difficult to discern the color through the dark gray case

Every Pill in its Place for the Day

When I saw this pill keeper I knew I had to obtain this object of convenience. Bit by bit over the years my pill management has increased. I was using 3 weekly pill minders for the different meds I take. So it meant I was going into 3 different storage mediums everyday. The blue and yellow ones I liked because you just have to press and the lids pop open. The purple one was more difficult. I had to press down the lever and use my other hand to open the lid, so it became a bit of a problem for me. When my eyes looked upon this beauty I saw all my pills in one container for the day. The boxes clearly marked and easy to open and snaps shut securely. I kept checking to see when it was going to arrive. Very well worth the money spent. If I am gone for the day I just pick up the daily box and put it in my purse. Rounded edges don't scratch me or my purse. I love the colors for the different days and these boxes are sturdy and will last a long time if taken care of. My other pill minders can become a place to carry my earrings and necklaces on vacation or other small objects. I think I will make one into a mending kit for vacation emergencies. Best Pill Case Ever and Bonus Carrier Case

I love how the compartments are very deep yet, about average width of all the others I have had over the years. Snaps shut well and I think will stay closed for a long time to come. ALL my previous (I found one type that I loved and bought and replaced that type for many years now). Everyone they would wear out and stop staying shut and pills would end up in my bag or purse. I recently added more vitamins and was purchasing a separate case just for them, when this came up. I am SO glad it did!! With them being so deep, I really do not need the other case now. It was a good thing, because on the other hand was so fragile that when I opened all the compartments to wash, a lid from two different days completely snapped off! It will be going off. As far as photo's, I have one tray with me today and will try to remember to take a photo or video of the entire thing later

This is a very good pill case for people taking a lot of pills at different times daily

If you have a lot of pills to take, some of which need to be taken at different times to coincide with meals, or in the morning or at bedtime, this is a very handy pill case. You can load up the entire 7 individual cases once a week, and use it as a reminder of which pills you have or haven't taken on any day. If you are going out to dinner, you can take the individual small daily pill case with you. If going on a several day trip, you can take just the pills you need for those days. Keeping everything straight is easier when you can fill the box once a week. You don't even have to start on a Sunday, just put the dailies in the case starting with whichever day you like to refill for the week. If a friend or family member organizes them for you, they can do a whole week at a time. Each compartment is large enough for multiple large capsules, or even something as large as a Tums or mineral supplement tablets. All the hinges and snaps work very well and should last for years. Reasonably priced. Recommende

Either arrived cracked or broke after 15 minutes of use

I literally received this package 2 hrs. After 15 minutes of prefilling, i noticed a little dark piece of plastic next time and found out it came from the case. I don't think it will be a problem but knowing I just received and opened this today and within the same hour it broke just from opening and closing the outside case is not the best. Some days I have to take a lot of pills at one dose so I was hoping the compartments could hold a lot. My beefiest compartment has 4 large pills with 4 mini ones and room to spare for 3 or 4 more large pills and a lot of minis. Other than that, the pill cases are great. I like that there is a 4th compartment that I am using for pills I might need that day. My surgery will lower my upper arm strength so someone gave a great tip to prefill pill cases with everything you need so you don't have to struggle with hard-to-open bottles

Best pill case I've ever bought.

I've bought maybe half a dozen kinds of pill cases over the years. I am a cancer patient and take quite a few pills four times a day. This is half the size of the one I've been using and it easily holds all my pills. The smaller size of the weekday containers makes them easier to put in a pocket or purse, and the ends are rounded, not square like most. It is well made and the compartments close securely. The only slight negative I can see is that it might be a little difficult to get pills out the usual way with your fingers since the compartments are smaller. I open the compartment and dump the pills into a small cup rather than trying to get them out with my finger. I would definitely recommend this pill organizer

Good sized compartments

This product is superior to any other week-long pill organizer I have used or seen. I was looking for an organizer to arrange daily vitamin/mineral supplements. This is perfect! Larger comparrments fit those bigger gel capsules. I use the extra compartment at the bottom for separating gummies so they don't affect other tablets and capsules. I fill all 7 days on Sunday and then just take out the daily organizer each day. Keeps me on top of taking my supplements which I would forget if I needed to open each bottle. Also like the carrying case if I should travel

Perfect for my needs — holds a lot

I take a lot of nutritional supplements in capsule or tablet form, at each meal and before bed. I wanted a pill organizer to help me remember to take everything and to make it less of a chore. This pill organizer was just what I needed. The individual compartments hold quite a bit and snap securely shut, yet they pop open easily enough when you want them to. I love the rainbow of colors to distinguish one day from another -- there's no reason functional items have to be ugly. If a capsule leaks in one of the compartments, it's a simply matter to flush the case with running water and let it air dry. I believe the daily organizers could travel safely in a purse or pocket without danger of spilling. The outer case that holds a week's worth of pills is really nice, too, and snaps shut securely, again without being hard to open, so you could toss it into a travel bag and hit the road, leaving all your pill bottles at home. Nice! Honestly, I'm not sure they could improve on this item

Awesome!

After the pill case my husband got from Walgreens was an abysmal failure (it would easily open if you just touched it wrong.) I went searching on Amazon for something better! He has been using this for 3 weeks now and it is awesome! I love that the daily pill sections are removable so if we are going to be out he can just grab "Monday" or whatever day it happens to be and carry that. No risking losing a weeks worth of pills or having to find something to transfer them to. It not only has places for morning, noon and night but for extra pills he might take only as needed. (Or ones for me) At least that is how we use it! It is easy to open but not so easy that you are constantly opening it accidentally like the other one. I think we paid $11.99 but I just saw that it is on sale for $9.99 so I am planning to order a second one

Just what we needed!

My Corgi is getting close to ten years old and recently hurt his back/hip. He's now on various medications three times a day. I was finding it frustrating to remember which ones at what time. This medicine minder has been a great way for me to store the correct medicine for the right time he needs it. I don't have to worry about giving him the wrong one. Takes the stress off of me. Works perfect
