Pepcid AC is also effective for pets. I've given it to my cat for over a year, using 1/4 tablet twice daily. This, along with other medications, has kept him nearly symptom-free. It's designed to reduce stomach acid, and while it's been used for my cat, it's also been beneficial for my daughter during stomach upsets. I've found it works safely without side effects for my family. If my cat has a good appetite and doesn't throw up, I know he's doing well.

These have been a Godsend. I recently discovered my stomach and chest pain was due to gastritis and a hiatus hernia. I was advised to try these and now take one a day, feeling symptom-free all day! They really work if you suffer from heartburn, GERD, or related issues.
