Essential for allergies

Best for severe allergies. I live in the mid-Atlantic region where pollen is heavy from April to June. Even with an air purifier and consistently washing my hands and linens, I still contend with itchy, watery eyes and blurry vision. Upon waking, my eyes can be extremely itchy and even swollen due to pollen exposure. During allergy season, my allergies are so intense that I often resort to eye drops, allergy pills (Allegra/Claritin), and nasal sprays (Flonase Sensimist) daily. This eye drop is my preferred choice! It is fantastic! The dropper isn't very large, and one drop in each eye suffices. I’m delighted it's available over the counter now!

Immediate relief experienced

This worked longer than advertised! I was suffering from allergies due to my golden retriever puppy, resulting in one continuous watering eye. After other drops failed, I found these, which my eye doctor recommended. Skeptical about their price, I tried them on arrival. The instant relief from tearing was impressive. Though I felt a slight sting and dryness after applying, I could use lubricant drops afterward. Despite mixed reviews from others, I'm grateful I took the chance.

My eye doctor recommended these drops, and they don't disappoint! I suffer from serious allergies that cause my eyes to itch. Recently available over-the-counter, they work well with just one application a day, effectively easing the itching. I've tried various eye drops, but these are by far the best.

Effective for allergies

Useful for severe allergies. I have quite severe seasonal eye allergies and switched to extra-strength Pataday last spring. I had used Alaway for years, but that was no longer effective during spring and summer. I apply the drops at night; they do make my eyes a bit sticky and gummy in the morning, but that's a minor inconvenience to avoid itchy, red, runny eyes throughout the day. Although the bottles are annoyingly small—30 days’ worth and not a drop more—I switched to a generic regular strength version in winter, which worked fine. With spring approaching, I'm back to extra strength and hope it is just as effective this year.
