7 Day Pretty Pillbox

Extremly Easy to Use!

Because good ones are SO hard to find I am going to do a complete review. I will put in ** If you just want the cliff notes. First - it is gorgeous! And has a soft velvety feel to it! We bought both the **Rose Gold, & the Black dispensers,(the Black is more of a Charcoal Grey) because **each only provides for once daily treatment. So since I take them twice a day we bought 2 different colors. As you may have guessed by now - the **Rose Gold for morning, and Black for bedtime. It has made our life so much simpler. There's a bonus to these too! In the spot where the clip that keeps the trays in place inside the sleeve - **there is enough room to place a few extra pills. I personally have some what's called “breakthrough pain episodes”, so that little bonus area is **perfect for carrying a couple extra pills with me without having to worry someone will see them, & possibly steal a bottle of them from me. It would **make a good spot for a couple migraine pills, or Tylenol/ibuprofen, something like that. It has taken me years to find a pill organizer that works so well for me that really **doesn't take up a bunch of space, or shows how many pills I have to take when, or are totally flimsy & waiting to snap off. Plus I wanted something that looks nice, & totally **easy to use, fill, & I wanted one that **would stand the test of time. For those whose **eyesight is not great- On the last picture (1st if they are listed backwards) is an embelem with the **“mi over mi” on it is only printed on the top, so even in pitch black you know which side is up! **The “extra space is much smaller than the regular Monday-Sunday spots, so easy to feel (plus the clip is on the front. They have isolated Saturday & Sunday from the rest of the week which is very helpful! It makes it so even **the blind can load the tray, and put the tray back into the sleeve. With no trouble! **For those with grip issues - the clip is very easy to use! Another interesting feature is that **you can lock it into a day so only the day you are using plus empty past days is open & dispensable with a simple tipping action. **Very simple slide action to close while holding the clip in. Thankfully **the clip is easier than gripping a spoon, wider too! We absolutely DO recommend this pill dispenser, and have already! We also hope our review & pictures are useful to you

Days ARE NOT mixed up…

A previous reviewer stated that Saturday and Sunday are out of order. They are if you push the inner pill container all the way out of the cover. This is NOT the correct way to use this. While the inner pill container (the white part) can be pushed all the way out, the proper way to use this is for Monday to Friday push the inner part to the LEFT and expose the day you want(second photo). Then for Saturday and Sunday you push the tab to the RIGHT which means Saturday comes out first then Sunday(third photo). Very simple. This container is compact, portable and cute. Time will tell if the quality is good and it holds up to daily use

Good (lasting) quality, but not(?) worth the price (Editted 1-yr post purchase & post purchase #2!)

Original review - The product is good quality, but by my estimation, it's worth $6 - $7 and not the $20 I paid, thus the 2-stars due to low value. The size is as described. It has a finish that is smooth and pleasant to the touch. Lastly, while not necessarily good or bad, the pillbox works on a slide mechanism and the mechanism extends and retracts in 'steps' that correspond with the daily dividers and those 'steps' make it noisier (i.e., clicks when extending or retracting) than I would prefer. Would have preferred a smooth and quiet glide. Editted 1 yr in... Due to a medical condition, I needed to start taking numerous medications a year ago...bought this to help manage everything. Not sure why I thought the clicking was a problem...you just need to apply a little more pressure to the release button on the glide mechanism and there is no clicking. Editing, because one year in, after daily use, trips, etc., the finish is still like new, and just as pleasant to the touch. Same goes for the glide mechanism. At the point in time when I needed to separate medications into AM/PM, after researching nearly every available option, I ended up ordering a second of these...so must have thought it WAS worth the price in the end. At current I have the golden one for AM (sunrise) and the grey one for PM (nightfall), both colors are very pleasant. One year in I'm very happy with my two purchases

Sturdy, well designed, classy and holds all my supplements and meds

I love this pill box! It is not at all cheaply made as some have described. It can be opened from either end, which, I think, is why Saturday and Sunday are reversed. So you open from the left end M-F and the right on Saturday and Sunday. You open so that days section is exposed but all the unused days are still inside the box. Then you can dump the pills out rather than scooping them out with your fingers. Ergonomically it's very smartly designed! It feels really nice in my hands, kind of soft. Also, it holds way more pills than is described. In one compartment I have two huge pills, four big pills, two medium and one tiny. The extra compartment is also great because I can put my meds I take on a different schedule than my supplements in there. (Ya, it sucks getting old). It is so perfect for me I just ordered an extra one for when I go on two week trips! The price is right too. A lot of thought went into the design of this product. If you want a crappy, cheap, ugly yellow pillbox that cost $5 this is definitely not the product for you

Pretty and SO SMART!

I seriously love this pill case. Using one normally makes me feel old but this one is super cute. AND, even more important, it's so smart the way it's designed. Check out the video I made to see why I like it so much. (And no - I didn't receive any free product or anything for this review. I just had been searching for so long to find one I liked I thought others might be in the same boat so I thought I would try to help.

Expensive but well made

Update: 2 years or daily use and still like new. The locking mechanism works fine and the exterior still has the rubberized texture. No more flipping lids and dealing with an excessively large organizer. This has a nice rubberized coating for the case and feels nice to the touch. The order of days is from outside in. On the left it is the weekdays, from Monday to Friday. From the right it is the weekend, from Saturday to Sunday. This is the design, it isn't a typo or an error like some other reviewers stated. This is not a QC problem, it is part of the design. I believe the design is so that you can flip the organizer upside down and dispense the pills into your hand. You can just slide it out to the day of the week and flip it upside down to get all your pills. If the weekend pushed out to the right said Saturday to the left of Sunday, then you couldn't flip it upside down to only get the Saturday pills. There is a half sized compartment in between the weekdays and weekends. You can store quite a bit in this container, and don't think would be a limitation for the majority of the population

Silly that I could be this excited about a pill organizer, BUT I AM!!!

I purchased just one of these pill organizers to try out first, because I thought $20 was a bit high, considering I was going to need two. As soon as I loaded it with pills, I felt it was so worth the money, I immediately order the dark one for my evening pills. Now that I'm using both, I actually really like that I have a separate one for morning and night. These pill organizers look, feel and function so much nicer than any other kind I've ever used. They way they dispense only the desired day, without exposing other filled compartment is perfection. It's especially smart that they thought to put SAT before SUN on the opposite side. If it seems odd to you at first, don't worry, you'll appreciate it the first time you dispense your Saturday pills and don't have to try to cover your Sunday pills to keep from spilling them. Most pill organizers are either too small and/or very annoying to fill. I despise the flip top style because the compartments are not fully accessible. You have to keep trying to prop open the flip top, so forget about quickly running down a rows of 14 compartment for quick fills. I also find the colored organizers so juvenile. I guess the way they look isn't a big deal but if I have to take pill every day for the rest of my life, it's just nicer to have something attractive. I'm including a photo of the pills outside the organizer, to give you an idea of how many pills fit in each section. For size reference the first pill, top left of each group is the Costco brand Mulit Vitamin and the red and blue pill is a typical capsule size. As you can see, theres still enough room for a few more large pills, if you needed that

I loved it, until I didn't — now with a positive update!

I had to update my review after I bought my third one of these. I had issues with the first one breaking slightly but it's still actually going strong YEARS later. And the subsequent purchases have been totally fine. I always get compliments on these things too, people can't believe they're pill boxes, which is nice when you don't want to feel like and elderly sick person, even if you are on the older side and dealing with chronic illness. It makes the whole process of taking care of yourself a little more sophisticated and stylish. =========== Such a nice pill organizer. Very subtle looking, almost high tech. I have had mine for almost 5 months and loved it. Then, this morning I heard an awkward cracking noise when I went to open it. The inner sleeve has this little tab piece that clicks into place to lock it into position â€" open, closed or at one of the intervals for each compartment. It works great for a while, but like all things plastic, it eventually breaks. Mine hasn't broken yet, but you can see the crack in the plastic. That inner sleeve is also loose now so it doesn't lock into place anymore, it just slides around freely. My organizer is likely to open unexpectedly and spill pills all over the place. I cannot have this, as I have pets that can become sick if they eat a pill they shouldn't. It's too bad because I otherwise really liked this organizer

Nice looking and functional pillbox

I like this pillbox a lot! I wanted a pillbox that would look nice, blend in on my dresser, and that I could travel with easily. Pros - Looks really nice and is discreet (doesn't look like a cheap pillbox). I like the metallic finish - It's a good size; large enough to allow for multiple large capsules in each slot but small enough to easily throw in a toiletry bag or purse - Easy to operate. Smoothly glides open by pushing on the tab. Seems like it would work for someone with arthritis or joint issues Cons - The Saturday and Sunday labels are swapped (they put Saturday before Sunday). But maybe they did that because you can open it from the other side too? Either way, I don't care enough to return - It's a little pricey (I paid $19.99 in Oct 2022) but worth the price in my opinion Note: May not be the best choice for someone who isn't able to reach in and grab the pills. I.e. you can't only open one compartment and dump the pills in your hand unless it's the first/last compartment. Not an issue for me, but if someone has arthritis it may not be the right one for the

Best traveling pill planner!

I love this weekly pillbox! I used this to pack my vitamins and medicines. I have about 7 pills that fit in the storage which it's what I needed. It's great quality and the perfect size for traveling, sticking in your purse easily, or backpack that doesn't take up your space! In addition, I like that has secure and that you can push the button and then slide either left or right. (video shown). One thing that threw me off was that the weekend days were not in order. Sunday was first then Saturday second at the end of the pillbox (picture shown). I'm used to Saturday first then Sunday second. Or it could have been organized from Sunday to Saturday but not Monday to Friday then Sunday and Saturday. That gets my days confused, haha! I had to use my sharpie permanent marker to correct it or it will drive me insane! Overall, I love this pillbox
