I'm a 26 year old woman, will never have babies, and I bought these for myself. We are all adults here, you know why I bought them. They work wonderfully. The ingredients ARE literally just prunes and water. For someone that watches what they eat they are a sensible 70 calories so nothing huge. Read More...My 22 month old daughter LOVES the Plum Just Fruit pouches. I always taste new food that I give to her, and I was pleasantly surprised how delicious the flavors are. Most canned/jarred food tastes to me as if it is decomposing right there in the jar! But I found these fruit flavors to be very fresh and delicious. The "plum" has a distinct raisin-ish flavor, sweet and rich! I am concerned about what she eats, I pack her lunch for daycare everyday, she doesn't eat any overly processed foods, she eats lots of fresh fruits and veggies, she's never had high fructose corn syrup and I feel confident including Plum Organics Pouches as a snack a few times each week. The ONLY ingredients are the fruit and occasionally some lemon juice is added. Make note!! You get TWO boxes of SIX (12 total pouches) Concerned about China? It's a shame that people post alarming reviewed without understanding the facts. The pouches are made in China, as are probably 90% of all packaging of of foods you and your family consume. HOWEVER, some important points: (1) The contents (the fruit puree) are made in NORTH AMERICA, from mostly North American produce, but some tropical fruits come from South America (2) The packaging is created in China and is made from 3 layers of material, including aluminum foil and the inner layer is PET (polyethylene) which has been determined safe and is BPA free. The CREATORS of the pouch are a partnership of a Japanese, an Italian and a US company. The just outsource the manufacturing to China. The machine that fuses the pouch together is made in Italy, so it's not like the "evil" Chinese could just switch out the pouch liner for a different chemical based plastic - it wouldn't work in the machinery. (3) The pouches are sterilized during the filling process and the Ph level is maintained below the amount at which microbes can multiply. Read More...These are seriously the only thing making my son poop on a regular basis. If I could give them a thousand stars I would. After dealing with constipation, we were willing to try anything to help move things along. I haven't tried them myself because I am not a fan of prunes, but he literally stands at the fridge begging for them every day so he must find them to be somewhat enjoyable. We have this on subscribe and save indefinitely. Highly recommend to moms of babies (or toddlers!) with pooping problems

Don't buy them on here unless they are less than $14 or so. You can usually buy them at Target for about $1.29 each, and Target has a subscribe and save program now that has better prices than Amazon on a lot of stuff like this

We've used these ever since he started solid foods, and whenever he's having difficulty with #2, these are our go-to. 2 packets and he's good! Read More...These are the best for keeping this big person regular after two different GI surgeries, I can throw them in my bag and they go down very easily and are tasty. It's the end of October and these expire at the end of March, this seems just fine to me. If you want baby food that lasts a long time I think pouches are not going to do that for you
Read More...I kept this on hand for the "just in case" moments when my child would get constipated in her early days of eating solids (purees). They're nicely sized at 3.5oz so big enough to split across a couple sittings, but also small enough that it doesn't feel like a waste if after the first sitting the prunes does their magic and we don't need to give more. I'm not a fan of prunes myself, but I tried a taste and was pleasantly surprised, and my child loves it. Of course, it's organic from Plum so I feel confident about the safety and quality of the product, and just one less thing to worry about during the chaotic days of having a newborn
Read More...I love the Plum Organics line as a whole, and the prunes are no exception. While we make most of our own food for our daughter, it's of course more convenient to have prepackaged options. I am very happy that this is exactly what it says: just prunes. The packaging is great: super portable, doesn't take up a lot of room, and it creates less waste than other types. My daughter loves the food itself, and I like that I would use it as soon as she started solids (it's very smooth & liquidy) and keep on going with it (I now just mix it with her cereal to thicken it up). The prices on Amazon are good, too. It's the only line of store-bought baby food we'll use, and I recommend it w/o reservation... even to those who would prefer not to use pre-packed foods
Read More...I purchased these (just prunes) for my 4-year-old daughter, who has chronic problems with constipation. Our pediatrician recommended both prune juice and daily miralax. I preferred to give her a whole food product instead of just juice, but she balked at regularly eating whole prunes due to their texture. I found these, which are similar in style to the applesauce pouches that are popular with her friends, and she likes them. So far, they've also improved her constipation enough that we can avoid the miralax altogether. Although I know that these are intended for infants (and they worked well on-the-go when my own children were babies), I wish that they had a similar product of prunes marketed for older children (with a larger serving size)
