Diet change effective

Great product. I've dealt with reflux for about eight years and even developed an ulcer. My doctor prescribed omeprazole for six years, but recently informed me it’s linked to kidney disease. I've changed my diet and stopped taking it four months ago, and I have had no more reflux. My diet now consists of fruits and vegetables, and if I crave acidic foods (like tomato-based), I take a couple of Prelief tablets beforehand without any issue.

Prefer over medication

Very helpful. I prefer these over medication taken after the fact. They genuinely work and assist with indigestion and reflux. I feel better taking these than other medications. If I remember to take them before a meal, they prevent problems. They help after eating as well, though not as effectively. I used to suffer from considerable reflux, but since starting this, I haven’t needed a round of Nexium.

Help for reflux. I've taken these for a couple of years and recently found them here for a better price than Walgreens. They significantly help with my reflux without needing extra medication. I take two every morning.

Prevention method

This product effectively prevents heartburn and reflux when you anticipate trouble. It works well to stop heartburn and reflux if you know you will eat something problematic. Just take 2-3 capsules with the first bite of the food, and you should be fine. Sometimes it’s hard to find, and it's rarely cheap, but the price on Amazon is always the best I can find.

Ineffective for me

Didn't work. Results vary, but as someone suffering from severe heartburn and reflux, I was desperate for something to help at night when it's worst. These were ineffective; I had to take four at a time to feel any relief, just for a few hours. I don't know why they didn’t work like other medications, but I stopped using them. I rated two stars as they may work for others though they tasted awful.
