Puritan's Pride Biotin 10000 Mcg, Helps Promote Skin, Hair and Nail Health, Softgels 100 Count

I use Puritan's Pride for almost all my vitamin purchases and all their products are affordable, high quality vitamins and supplements. Their Biotin is the only product that has improved the thickness and growth of my thinning hair. I am a senior and this is parts of the aging process, UGH! Once, I ran out of the Puritan's Pride and bought another brand. The hair growth stopped and I vowed to never use anything but Puritan's Pride Biotin! My hair stylist on Long Island, NY (where I lived my entire life until moving to Michigan 3 yrs ago) recommended Puritan's Pride Biotin to me almost 15 yrs ago for a thin spot in the front of my hair. I used their Biotin 5000 mcg soft gel caps 2x day initially for a few years and then dropped down to once a day. When I moved to Michigan I continued to order from Puritan's Pride, but my new hair stylist here recommended Nature's Bounty Hair, Skin and Nails (white bottle/pink & white label) so I bought a big bottle and used it for about 4 months. My hair thinned again, in the same spot by my part, and there was NO new little hairs growing! My finger nails were thinning and tearing, and the only thing that grew were my toenails! So, I went back to the Puritan's Pride Biotin, but increased the dose to Ultra Mega 7500 mcg quick release soft gel caps once a day initially and will reorder the 5000 mcg soft gel caps soon to maintain the new growth. I have only been using Puritan's Pride Biotin again for 30 days and my hair stylist confirmed there is new growth again

Hair health, beware of headaches

I am very pleased with Puritan's Pride products. I like the value, the price and the ability to shop for vitaminss and supplements that aren't cooked up in a laboratory. I also find their prices to be excellent when comparing them to what I see in the store. I will warn you, Biotin commonly causes headaches. I didn't realize this, and as someone who never gets headaches, I understood quite quickly what was causing them. However, if you take these with a full glass of water and food, you can avoid the headache (at least that worked for me) I am guilty of taking things like this on the fly without eating or drinking like you should, can't do that with these

I've taken this for over 50 years, for my hair. I'm 67 and I have a full head of white hair. My Dad was a hairstylist and he told me to take this for my hair and nails

It clearly works

I'm not sure whether to laugh or cry, but I'm confident this biotin works. I had a baby 6 months ago and had ton of postpartum hair loss and finally I tried these pills around month 3-4. After about a week of taking them, I could tell my hair started to fall out less. I didn't notice a regrowth until recently (I have bangs and naturally dark blond hair) but I pulled the bangs aside and saw some prominent gray hairs. This new baby graciously gave me a variety of new growing gray hairs - not the biotin. Definitely not blaming this product - the culprit is definitely my hormones, or the baby - depends on the day. I'm going to keep taking this pill daily because my hair and skin are better, growing, and healthy. The biotin did it's job in helping my hair regrowth - definitely top notch

This is the issues with softgels. I'm not sure if this lessens the potency of the vitamin but I don't want to go thru sending this back and get the same thing. The expiration date isn't until 202

IT WORKS! WORTH PRICE!

Easy to swallow, very small. Worth the price, for the amount you get. I purchased 11/19/22 & started to see results after a month of use. It has been 2 months & my hair is growing like crazy! LOVE THIS STUFF!!!! Will continue to purchase!!! Must be consistent to see results! Most of the time your body will not “show results” until after a month of use

Excellent vitamin for your hair and nails.

My hair was to my bottom. I had to get it cut off to my shoulders because covid had fried it. I started these vitamins and my hair started getting healthier and stronger, so did my nails. Espicaly the two mails where my skin is peeling off my fingers from covid. I have recommend this vitamin to more people that has damaged hair from covid

Has helped my fingernails!

My fingernails have ridges. They have been there for years. They make it very hard to keep a smooth edge on my nails. This supplement has helped a lot. The ridges are smaller and no longer keep me from getting a smooth edge on my nails. I plan to take it forever
