Great for helping macular degeneration

My eye doctor showed me that I was in the very top of the yellow zone (just before red). He told me to try taking Macu Health, but it is too expensive. I looked at the ingredients and they are all in this Puritan's Pride supplement. After 6 months of taking them, (1 in the morning, and 1 in the evening) he tested my eyes again. There was a marked improvement. My eyes had improved to the very low edge of yellow. He told me to keep it up. This supplement is much more affordable

Floating spots are gone

I bought this for my 11 years old son who has different issues with his vision and one of them was seeing floating spots. After taking this supplement for a while, my son stops seeing floating spots. I'm very happy!

Cheaper here than through the company

Another supplement that we buy, based on our doctor's recommendation. Currently, this was cheaper here than through the company! We prefer buying Lutein as a single supplement, but at least this one is the right dosage

Just what I needed!

I was informed by my eye doctor that I was on the verge of macular degeneration, a condition my mother had in her final years. He recommended a number of supplements, 2 of which are in this product. I have been taking zeaxanthin and lutein faithfully for two years and have found that my eyes are better, less watering and fatigue, and the progress of the degeneration has been halted for now. I have used Puritans Pride products for years. Such good quality for reasonable prices

Seems to be working

I got this to help with my eyesight and my mother's who is 85. I wish she could have started taking this supplement when she was my age, 58. Instead, she has had cataract surgery and now has macular degeneration which is what I am diligently trying to avoid. Hence, why I purchased this product

Hard to assess the benefits but who knows?

I think my eyes are a bit better in overall functioning. But that is not a rigorous scientific claim. It could be due to other factors or within the range of placebo effects. I did change other factors such as using lubricant eye drops and eating more spinach, too. That elusiveness is true for many supplements. What I do like a lot about this product, and the Puritans Pride products in general, is the overall high quality of their liquid-filled capsules. The ones I have received are really nice little products. They are easy to swallow and pleasant to use

Eyes are clearer vision wise.

This product really helps. I have glaucoma in my left eye which often has cloudy vision. I'm blind totally in my right eye so along with eye drops and a low sodium diet every little bit helps. But since using it when I open my eyes in the mirning I do see with an apprrcuable amount of clarity

It works

I've been taking it for few weeks and I noticed an improvement to my vision I couldn't believe that something off the shelf could really help but it did It even started after few days from taking it and my eyes feels better

Great product for eye health

I've had glaucoma for decades and had surgery for detached retina in my right eye in 2001. When I began to experience problems in my left eye, I initially attributed it on the side effect of a change in medication. When the problem persisted and began to grow worse, I feared that my retina was detaching in that eye. He problem has since cleared up, it was a hemorhage, I knew that I needed to add zeaxanthin and lutein to my supplements regimen. I'm very pleased so far with this product, and feeling very hopeful that I will continue to preserve the current health of my eyes
