A reasonably priced way to get in the very important Co-Q10. This particular version does not have the synthetic vitamin E in it, but does have 6 mg Vitamin C per capsule. It is approved through Consumer Labs as having the stated amounts of the ingredients in it, and is one of the three brands recommended by Consumer Labs for Ubiquinol. However, CL also warns that it also has polysorbate 80 in it. There is a warning by the FDA not to take more than 175 to 475 mg of polysorbate 80 per day. The amount of polysorbate 80 in this product is not stated on the label, it is listed in the Other Ingredients section. Some people have also had an allergic reaction to polysorbate 80. At one a day, I don't have a reaction. But I have a condition for which my health coach has recommended high doses of Ubiquinol. At 200 mg three times a day, I reacted to it with itching burning hands and systemic inflammation that caused joint and muscle pain. The CL information solved the mystery of why I was having that problem. For someone taking only 1 or 2 caps of this per day, it is probably not going to cause a problem.
