Mitochondrial cocktail enhances heart protection
We designed a study with male Wistar rats, aged 22-24 months and induced with type-2 diabetes, to investigate how a combination of three mitochondrial agents—melatonin, nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN), and ubiquinol—could provide protection against myocardial ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury, especially in the context of aging and diabetes.

The rats were split into groups receiving different treatments, including some that received the cocktail of supplements just during the reperfusion phase after inducing I/R injury. Over 28 days leading up to the tests, rats received NMN, while melatonin and ubiquinol were administered as the heart was being revived after ischemia.

The results indicated that the combination therapy notably enhanced heart protection and improved mitochondrial function and biogenesis in these aged diabetic rats. While ubiquinol was an important part of this cocktail, it is essential to view its role as one among several synergistic agents. This points to exciting possibilities for improved heart health strategies, particularly for older individuals with diabetes.

Combination therapy improves heart health
We examined the combined effects of nicotinamide mononucleotide (NMN) and ubiquinol on heart health, particularly focusing on how they impact lethal heart rhythms following a heart attack in aged rats. The study involved 30 male Wistar rats, including groups with and without myocardial ischemia/reperfusion injury, as well as those receiving either NMN, ubiquinol, or both.

By administering NMN for a month before the heart attack and intravenously injecting ubiquinol during early reperfusion, we aimed to see how these treatments could reduce oxidative stress and improve nitric oxide levels. Our findings showed that the combination therapy had a notable anti-arrhythmic effect, helping to counteract the damaging heart rhythms often experienced after such serious incidents.

Although our research indicates that this combination treatment may offer better heart protection during aging, we recognize the need for more investigations to fully explore this potential and understand the precise effects of each component, particularly ubiquinol. Overall, our study highlights the promising role of combining therapies to enhance heart health in older adults.

Heart rhythm improvement

I highly recommend this coenzyme Q10, especially after experiencing heart rhythm issues, including tachycardia. After a month of taking it, my symptoms improved significantly, and I feel much better overall. It's easy to use, just one daily capsule after meals. I plan to keep using it since it's suggested for those over 40.

Only UbikhinoL works for me, not UbikhinoN! I took UbikhinoL 100mg for four months, and it significantly eased my arrhythmia and heart discomfort after my heart attack. Switching to UbikhinoN caused the issues to return. I researched and found that Q10 is beneficial for heart conditions but doesn't accumulate in the body; it must be taken consistently.

After my uncle’s heart attack, he started taking ubiquinol as advised by his cardiologist. Within ten days, he had noticeably more energy, less tachycardia, and improved sleep. Eventually, the bags under his eyes disappeared, and he returned to his race walking routine. We're now purchasing ubiquinol from Qunol, as buying three jars offers a discount.

I’ve been using various ubiquinols for over three years due to my heart problems, and I can confidently say it works. I feel significantly better. I don’t understand why cardiologists don’t prescribe it more often following a heart attack, as I've experienced positive effects that are evident and lasting.

I initially bought these pills for my 89-year-old mother, and they improved her heart issues and stabilised her blood pressure. At 60, I started taking them too, and six months in, I no longer experience fatigue. I will continue with this as it has proven beneficial for both of us.

Protects heart health

I’ve been purchasing Coenzyme Q10 in UbikhinoL form for over two years for my parents and myself. It’s essential for protecting against free radicals and supporting cardiovascular health, particularly after a heart attack. You need at least 100 mg daily, as lower doses are ineffective. It's best absorbed with fatty foods, and I take it with omega-3s.

As a libertarian, I take this supplement twice a year, and it helped resolve my tachycardia following my heart attack. After two weeks of use, my irregular heart rate normalised. I even bought some for my mother, and the ubiquinol absorbs excellently.
