I have a lifetime history of ear infections when I get a head cold of any sort. For the past 38 years of my life, the routine was as follows: 1. Get a head cold (coughing, stuffy nose, etc) 2. A few days later, despite anti-cold meds and constant nose blowing I would start to get an Ear infection. I was born with defective ear drums and it causes me to be prone to ear infections anytime I get a sinus type cold 3. At this point I would go see a doctor to get my usual Amoxicillin antibiotic and Otic Suspension drops, having my issues clear up in 7 days. I did a lot of online research for naturally occurring antibiotic and one of the herbs I found was 'andrographis paniculata'. Counter Attack contained this and some other herbs that are known to help with infections and colds. When I recently had a sinus cold I started to feel the onset of my expected Ear infection (echoing quality to sound I heard, felt like liquid in my ears) so I decided to go out and buy some Counter Attack to self treat my symptoms. Within days my symptoms of an Ear infection disappeared, and I was feeling 100% in about 48 hours. My urine turned a almost 'Mountain dew" like color, but I attribute that to the toxins and byproduct of the medicine. Overall, if you want to depend less on Doctor treatments and medicines from the pharmacy, I would recommend this product
