Left a nasty taste to my saliva after few weeks of constant ingestion
Hello, I am not the one to write a bad review but I feel that is is needed to let other people know my experience. I have taken multiple brands of multivitamin for many years. I tend to use the same brand year after year, although this time I got an ad for Rainbow Light Men and decided to do the switch. From the very first dosage, I noticed a change in the color of m urine (gatorade-neon-color), which is not uncommon with some multivitamins. After a week I started to wake up with a metallic taste in my saliva. I have very good oral hygiene and brush floss at least three times a day, with an oral rinse after every meal. The only thing I changed was the multivitamin supplement, so I would think that maybe I was probably ingesting too much of a vitamin or mineral from the same. I still gave it a chance NOT until my saliva started to have a milky metallic flavor, to the point of altering the taste of my food or even swallowing saliva! The second symptom that came after was my bowel smell intensified, along with how my sweat smelled. I immedieatly went to the doctor, for which I was told to stop taking the multivitamin. After I stopped taking the multivitamin, it took 2-3 days for the taste of my saliva to be less and less milky-metallic, my poop didn't stink as much (but slinked nonetheless LOL) and my sweat started to smell less like pee. After a week, I am back to normal, enjoying my food and using less Febreze after I go to the restroom. The only thing I had to quit was sour cream, because these damn vitamins gave me PTSD since it sour cream now triggers that taste I had in my mouth while taking this. Other people have given good reviews to these vitamins and some have taken them for years. Good for them. AS for me, my experience wasn't so pleasant. The ingredient list seems very promising, but their might be a specific ingredient that either is too much, or simply not compatible with me
