I have been suffering from reoccurring vaginal infections, whether it be yeast or BV, for a while now. I've tried almost everything at this point. I used the pill-shaped vaginal suppositories that are supposed to balance your PH, I've used monistic countless times, I've taken prescription pills, the one-day yeast infection pill, I've tried topically treating it with yogurt, altering my diet - and none of these efforts have been to my avail. It was really frustrating because I have had these issues ever since a young age and all I want is for my vagina to be at optimum health. I just changed doctors and I was in the process of scheduling an appointment when I came across these probiotics. I have seen other probiotics and pills, but for some reason I never tried the oral treatment method until now. Right before taking these I had one of the worst yeast infections I have ever experienced. It was so extremely itchy and I was just looking for at least a temporary relief until I could make it to the doctor. Fast forward 5 days and I don't even fee the need to schedule an appointment. I don't know what exactly are in these, but they're MAGIC. All my symptoms have gone away and my vagina finally feels like it is back to normal! I keep smell checking (as I had to wear pantyliners before) to make sure everything is good down there and it actually smells like a normal vagina! I am still so in shock by these results. I'm writing this from my family's account, but my name is Jenna. I am in college and have been struggling with chronic Yeast Infections and BV for as long as I can remember between sports and just plain ole everyday activities. I was recommended this product by my OBGYN, but was hesitant at first to buy it because for a 30 day supply it is a little pricey... I'm on my second bottle now and I have now been using this product for a little under two months. It's LIFE CHANGING!!! I no longer have to worry about the embarrassment of smell, or the uncomfortable itching and discharge. I take this product everyday in the morning with my other vitamins. Prior to using this product, my symptoms were constant loud smells, even after showers. A little background info... In high school for about 2 years, I would wear a lift tampon every. single. day. to avoid the smell down there. Yes, I know, that is terrible to do, but at the time it seemed like my only option. The weirdest part is, I am one of the cleanest people out there when it comes to my hygenie and make it a priority to shower everyday. I was struggling with the smell so badly that sometimes I would even shower as often as 3 times a day to try to get rid of it. Now, I can wear tight leggings all day and at the end of the day they still smell normal in the crotch area. My only complaint is that every once in a while I will get a sudden wet feeling in my pants and once I get to a bathroom, I discover it is a clump of discharge. Does anyone else experience this? The discharge does not smell and looks healthy, so if that's the only bad/uncomfortable part then i'll deal with it!! This does not happen everyday ... maybe 1 or 2 days a week. I guess the discharge has to get out at some point, right???! I have experienced one period while taking these pills and with the combination of using a menstrual cup (I bought mine from Rebel Kate) I had no smell whatsoever down there!!!!! I am AMAZED! The reason I switched to using a menstrual cup vs a tampon is because I found that tampons dried out my vagina causing irritation which would always lead to a funky smell/infection. Menstrual cups do not disrupt the internal environment of the vagina because it does not dry out the vaginal wall and instead what it does is collect the fluids, not absorb them. All in all, this product is life changing and I would recommend it to anyone out there struggling with discharge, odor, or itchiness problems!

So I just purchased my second bottle. But let me just share with you a little before I explain this product in case other women may have the same issue. I was getting this very smelly fishy order down there along with discharge. During sex, it would hurt so bad to the point where I just couldn't. Went to a clinic twice and they never figured out my problem. Said nothing was wrong with me. I went to a different clinic and god bless my new doctor soul for finding the problem. I had BV. I took that pill they normally give you for two weeks straight then after, started using this because my doctor recommended me to. REVIEW IMPORTANT: I was able to have sex with no problem. The smell went away and every was great! However, I noticed if I miss about days to a week of taking the pill.. symptoms came back. The smell and hurting. I don't know if it is just me or what but it is very bothersome. I started taking back the product EVERYDAY but at the moment I have my period so I do not know about the smell or hurting. I am just grateful for this product and will update the review to five stars if everything is good

I have suffered from this horrid affliction, BV, for years. I took flagyl once. Thought that would be the end of it, but it came back within days. It didn't matter if sex was protected or unprotected, and after my period was the WORST! I got it no matter what. One of my *OLD* GYN's said that my partner's ph and my ph "just didn't mix well". LOL. Great diagnosis. At one point, I was wearing tampons every day, even when I wasn't having my period, just so I would NOT STINK! I've tried most of the "home remedies" out there: tea tree oil douche (traded one smell for another, and it burned, but it temporarily got rid of the stench, 1 tsp TTO/1 cup water), yogurt douche (get a medicine syringe like you use to give kids medicine, kinda yuck, and gave me bad cramps, but temporary relief), hydrogen peroxide douche (get a Tiny Kit re-useable douche 1 cup peroxide, 1 cup water.) I found this was the best out of the three. Douching is not recommended, but when you're desperate to smell fresh and feel confident, you're just happy there is something out there that gives relief. My *NEW* GYN says that the peroxide/water douche kills all of the bacteria, good and bad, but as I said, anything for a fresh day. Oh, the Rephresh gel works great, too, but it really is only good for three days per tube, and is way too expensive to not be a permanent fix. I had tried Ultimate Flora Women's Care 25 billion in January, but it made me feel itchy and almost feel like I had a yeast infection, but there was no STINK! But I gave up on it figuring it was just too strong. Now to explain why only 3 stars: I have been using Rephresh pro-b religiously since February. I felt better, but I still needed to use the peroxide/water douche after sex and after my period. Let me say again, I felt better than I had in years, but still, I was having to take other measures, so it wasn't the "perfect fix" for me. My FINAL regimen (that I have been doing for the last 2 months): Alternate Rephresh pro-b with the Ultimate Flora Women's Care 25 billion every other day and take a multi vitamin daily. My *NEW* GYN heartily approved when I told her my plan in June, and wants me to let her know how it is working. I'm letting all of you know first. Believe me Ladies, $50 every-other-month is so worth our sanity, our relationships, and most of all smelling like a fresh, normal woman. Give it a shot. It may be *YOUR* cure, too. Can't hurt. Wow! This product absolutely works!!! For 2 years no doctor could appropriately diagnose me telling me it was a yeast infection I'd take Flagyl 2,3 times a month 1pill then the 2nd if the symptoms persisted. I would be fine for a wk or 2 but then my period would come and my pH would spiral out of control and back to flagyl. A year later I began experiencing terrible pelvic pain, doctors thought bladder infection, ovarian cyst, appendix, kidney stones, but after 2 pelvic ultrasounds, 2 MRIs, several lab tests, nothing! A female physician even told me I was making up it up. I was hopeless I was terrified I felt alone and was losing any interest to do anything in fear of causing whatever was going on to come back the very few days I had no symptoms. I gained weight not working out too scared to get too sweaty there and cultivate bacteria, I was too scared to be intimate, too nervous to drink (when I wasn't on metronidazole). Finally 4 gynecologists later a female physician suggested it may be BV. I began seeing another gynecologist to treat me specifically for BV. While waiting to see the doctor the intact nurse, a young lady in her mid 20s saw my desperation. She told me confided and told me she too had suffered a lot with BV and she was once told about taking either a probiotic or vaginal suppositories. She said just do your own research but I know several women who've been where you are I was once one of them. You shouldn't have to live this way but still see the doctor do your own research. I spoke to the doctor explained my symptoms and his solution: He only DOUBLED up on all of the above insert vaginal metronidazole gel as your period ends take 2 metronidazole pills a day for 14 days no alcohol if you feel symptoms. We're going to do this from here out. I couldn't believe it “this” was his idea of “fixing” it doing the same thing all the other doctors had done X2. Of course the 3rd month after running out of medication before my next gynecologist appt it came back tenfold! Pelvic pain was unforgivable rawness caused bleeding I ended up in the ER. I left the ER with more metronidazole smh and pain killers. At that moment I thought about that young lady and I started reading about probiotics. The first month I thought maybe I got lucky, the second month I thought maybe is it really working? And the third month OMG I have not taken any medicine, gels, or pain killers!!! I'm ordering it this month 10/2022 for the 4th month! It works! I have cancelled my gynecologist visit twice now! No need for anymore useless metronidazole this probiotic WORKS!!!! Ladies don't slow or stop your lives, don't let BV or a ph imbalance control your life. I can assure you $30 bucks is much much less than all the medicine test ultrasounds and MRIs the doctors can provide. It works! :'

I didn't believe in magic until I discovered these pills...they literally saved my life. MY STORY: I had chronic yeast infections for 3 years straight. Prescriptions, over the counter meds, changing diet, apple cider vinegar etc. did not work. I would get 5 days of relief every month (during my period), and a yeast infection would come right back. My gyno just continued to prescribe meds and it would work for a day or two and then the symptoms would return. My vagina itched, it was so sensitive to the point where cuts would form, I couldn't have sex with my husband without excruciating pain, and I was just flat out miserable, FOR 3 WHOLE YEARS! I started to read some reviews about pills that claim that they work for yeast infections and balancing yeast, and I came across these. I decided to try them since I didn't have anything to lose, and within 2 days my symptoms ALL went away....I didn't hold my breath and weeks passed....still no infections....here I am 4 months later, and still no infections! 07/29/13 UPDATE: I've been on this for a while now, and BV has not bothered me at all. It's become a daily essential. It took time to take full effect but now I haven't had any BV! :) For the past 3 years, I've had recurring bacterial vaginosis. I would go to the doctor, take the antibiotics, then immediately after I finished the antibiotics, it came right back. I kept coming back to the doctor, and she began treating me like I was a filthy whore. She questioned my hygiene, told me to wipe front to back as if I was wiping my poop all over myself, and kept saying "you need to use condoms! you need to use condoms!" even when I wasn't even having sex... I began to feel like I was dirty, when I wasn't. I felt like it was my fault I had this problem. The doctors would just keep giving me antibiotics, and nothing more. I finally gave up and stopped bothering. It got so bad, it started hurting me. I felt extremely tender and raw down there, it smelled horrible, and was always runny with discharge. I constantly had to go clean up throughout the day. Sex with me fiance became really painful for me to where I had to stop, and it would hurt him too. It would sometimes give him a rash and make him swell... it was a huge turnoff for me, overall I just felt disgusting. I'm 24, about 6 months ago i got a yeast infection. Went to my Dr, he gave me antibiotics and cream to apply and that was that, for the first one. a month later, another one. ok, went back to the Dr, more meds and cream. a couple months go by and another one. I had a different Dr examine me, she told me most likely my Ph levels were off, could be due to soap, birth control,my bfs semen, or a change in diet, and suggested a probiotic but more in passing than an actual emphasis as a cure. She also gave me more meds and cream and prescribed it so whenever i needed it i could just re-up the prescription instead of coming in again. A month later, another one. Like what the hell? I'm only 24, never had these problems in my life and suddenly chronic infections. I was really worried something was seriously wrong with me. it was affecting my sex life and thank god my boyfriend is amazing and unconditionally understanding, but it was really embarrassing and wearing on my own self esteem. I'm a confident women, going from hot crazy sex all the time to curled up in the corner because i'm so itchy and uncomfortable just sucks so bad! Sex was painful even with a ton of lube, it was all just bad, we just stopped having sex all together. i started researching and seriously almost anything can throw off a women's ph level. The reviews were talking about this miracle cure and i had to have it asap! I started taking 1 pill a day as suggested and 3 days later... It was worse!! i was more itchy, more dischargey and more uncomfortable than i'd ever been. I was so upset and disappointed and ready to say F it, on to the next thing but i read your body needs a least a week of product to really soak into your system, level out and take effect. So in desperation i doubled my dose (1 in the morning, one at night before bed) and waited out the rest of the week. I also started washing with Vagisil Wash Ph Balance. Seriously desperate to get rid of this crap. after a whole 7 days of taking Rephresh, and a full 4 of double dosing, i was feeling better. Little to no discharge, and only a light itching remained. 2 more days and i was normal again!! I feel great!!! i started taking the regular 1 a day, and only double dose when i have sex, which is pretty often but i'm afraid if my girl down there gets too irritated it'll come back again and i'd rather be safe than sorry. I still wash with the Vagisil everyday also and my sex life is great. Im so happy to be me again!! I will be buying this once a month and i highly recommend it to anyone. Don't give up if the first few days don't seem to be helping. I'm so very happy i waited it out and gave it a chance

I got fed up a couple of weeks ago with having chronic yeast infections, irritating symptoms, BV symptoms and UTIs. I have been suffering from yeast infections since I was in high school, but they started getting worse when I started having sex and I was just always feeling so gross and irritated and thought that there was something wrong with me. I would get a UTI with every new partner, and I have gotten two in the two months I've been dating my boyfriend! Everytime I get a UTI, I get an extremely terrible yeast infection that never totally goes away. My gynocologist suggested taking probiotics, and even though I was skeptical I researched anyway. Let me tell y'all something.... This works. I had recurrent yeast infections since January 2022 (literally would be 1 week no yeast infection, 2 weeks with a yeast infection, menstrual cycle, then repeat the whole thing all over again) which I think was a result of quitting my birth control. My body was obviously super out of wack. Anywho, I was searching for a good probiotic and went through sooo many until I saw my gyno and she recommended this one. I came across it in my initial search but it had some ingredient in it that everyone was saying to avoid at all costs, so I skipped over this. But honestly, I got desperate. The yeast infections were affecting my mental health and my sex life, and I had enough. I bought this at the beginning of July, and have been taking it for a month now. Have not had a single yeast infection all month. Just bought another bottle and am hoping for the same results in August. Will update this at the end of the month. ALSO, one thing they don't tell us is that STRESS encourages yeast growth. Very little times is it your diet, or alcohol, or the other BS reasoning doctors may give... It is your stress levels, which tend to increase the older you get, which explains why yeast infections and UTIs mostly affect women of childbearing age. I will definitely say that the reduction in yeast infections was not just from this probiotic, but the combination of the probiotic and a 21-day meditation challenge I was doing in July. Less stress, less yeast! Update/ 4 months later & still yeast infection free. Still don't know if it was simply my body needing to rid itself completely of the birth control hormones or the probiotic or both but 4 months with no signs of an infection, even after sex, using scented soaps, tight clothes, etc
