just the right grain-size in my opinion, slightly finer than beach sand, but adequately hard to actually exfoliate. The product goes a long way, it will be a while before I'll need another bag, but when I do I know where to get it

Read More...I like to make my own scrub to shave with. I was just using a basic sugar and body wash mix for years. It was great but the sugar granules would get stuck in the razor head and drag up my leg. It's kind of painful. I had to use apricot face scrub on vacation once in a pinch and it made my legs feel fantastic but it's pretty expensive. I found this, mixed it with rose and vanilla body wash and it is the best scrub I have every used. No exaggeration. When you feel the grains in the bag you think there's no way this is abrasive enough to handle anything but I was shook. It was the smoothest my legs have ever been post shave. The granules don't get stuck and drag either. Perfection

Read More...I bought this to use in melt and pour soap so I could add some exfoliation without needing mushy oatmeal or messy seeds. I have used poppy seeds in soap in the past and it has left seeds everywhere in my shower. I use about 4tsp per 1lb of soap and it provides a nice gritty feel without being too harsh. I have also added some of the powder into a small amount of facewash to make a version of the famous apricot scrub and found I actually prefer the walnut to brand name scrub. I made a batch of soap for camping with 4tbs of this powder and while it felt like sandpaper in the soap was great when I was out in the woods or doing a really dirty job at home. I have since added this to my subscribe and save so that I can continue to keep this in stock for all of my natural products I make. This brand in particular I found to be the best because it looks like sand. Very fine uniform particles and no large clumps like I have found in other not so finely ground walnuts
Read More...This is what I got over buying an expensive other brand I shall not name. I plan to place this in a mixture and use on my legs and booty. But, you can add a pump of soap, and a spoon full of this and it still is perfect. It removed many of the bumps and irritation from pants I have. Oh and you are given 30 of the other brand for a quarter of the price btw
