XTEND XTEND Original BCAA Powder 7g

I've been using Xtend since 2004 and have tried many flavors, and I'm guessing even if you've used the product you're wanting to know which one to order. I'll give you a quick guide as I swear by this product and genuinely want Scivation to do well. God Tier - Watermelon, Tropic Thunder Watermelon was the first flavor I've tried and it's simply the best. After I try a flavor I inevitably end up back with Watermelon. It's refreshing and tastes great. I've ordered it maybe 20 times. Tropic Thunder tastes like a Pina Colada, and is probably my new favorite flavor. I regularly order as much as I can as the taste rarely ever gets old. Best of the Rest Tier - Blue Raspberry, Pink Lemonade, Miami Ice, Mango Madness Both flavors might be a bit tart at first but it doesn't take long to fall in love with either option. I've ordered Blue Raspberry the second most, and although it's a newer flavor it's easily my second favorite. Miami Ice's flavor is difficult to explain. It's sort of like a unique daiquiri where the bartender uses the best fruits and mixes. It is definitely one of the sweetest flavors out there, but in a good way, not overly sugary. Mango is probably my 3rd favorite flavor and I'm drinking right now as I write this review. Like Miami Ice it's sweet, but almost perfectly so. If you like the taste of mango fruit you're going to like Mango Madness. Good But Not Great Tier - Blood Orange, Lemon Lime, Strawberry Kiwi, Green Apple, Grape, Fruit Punch, Orange All of these options are as advertised. They're fun selections to try, but honestly I've only ordered each one once. If I have to give the nod to the best it's probably Fruit Punch. I would recommend ordering the 30 serving for each to see which one if your favorite Never Again Tier - Freedom Ice I was so excited to try this, rocket pops are delicious so naturally Freedom Ice would be too. In reality you can only taste the lemon, it's very tart and the bottle was a chore to get through. It looks like this became very popular, for that purpose this comment has been Updated 4/12/2

I've been using this for about a month now and can't say enough great things about it. This product has a 2-1-1 ratio which is great and the 90 serving size gets you more for the money. I never used BCAA's when I work out and I've been doing so for the past 20 years off and on. This product gave me endurance and also aided me in recovery. My workouts for the past year have been brutal. My workout consists of using weights first then sprints to then steady state cardio. After my workout I have been completely depleted of energy and felt sluggish and sore. While using this product for the past month, I no longer had any of these issues after my workouts. As another reviewer stated, there's only 3 grams of Glutamine in this product. I add another 5 grams to get the daily recommended amount needed for recovery. Since there's no product details on Amazon I thought I'd share that info. You're probably asking the same questions I asked myself before I decided to purchase this. What made me decide to purchase this product were the 5 star reviews. I have tried the old formula Watermelon and the new Blue Raspberry and Green Apple. I like the increased workout ability (strength/time) and the lessened muscle soreness. I have one serving a day on workout days and do not normally use on "rest" days. I have recommended this to my sister and cousin. Mixes much better than the original formula. Sweet? Oh yes, it's sweet. Mix is 1 scoop to 8oz of water. I prefer 1 scoop to 16 oz of a combo Ice/Water. tip: Amazon normally has best pricing! ETA: Amazon will not let me review different flavors, only one, therefore I give it 5 instead of 4 stars. All performance statements above are the same for each flavor. BLUE RASPBERRY: Tastes like kool-aid. Totally delicious! WATERMELON: (I have only had the older version but plan to order more in the new) Also very tasty. Like a watermelon treat.(This review on watermelon is original to March 2012). 4/4/2012: I have found a variety pack that includes 6 flavors of XTend. Orange Dream, Lemon Lime Sour, Watermelon Madness, Raspberry Blue, Green Apple, and Grape. GRAPE: I normally do not like grape anything but tried that flavor to make my sister happy. Grape is actually very good. It does not taste like a brand name cough medication. WATERMELON: The new Watermelon formula is TERRIBLE! It tastes like super sweet sugar free watermelon flavored candy. ORANGE DREAM: Orange Dream is pretty good, but not my fave. LEMON LIME SOUR: Lemon Lime Sour has a tangy taste that I didn't care for. That said- I don't like lemon lime sports drinks either. GREEN APPLE: some people have stated this tastes like an apple candy. I do not think it tastes like a Jolly Rancher (which I like), more like green apple gum (which I don't like). My sister and I also thought it tasted somewhat like a GreenAppleTini. Not a bad flavor, but not my favorite flavor. I much prefer the Watermelon or Blue Raspberry. 2/21/2014: NEW FLAVOR!!!! STRAWBERRY KIWI: This flavor is SOOOO Juicy! The smell is like a strawberry milkshake (pre-water) and the taste is like a juicy strawberry candy. I would say this has to be one of my favorite flavors of XTend so far. Just writing this review is making my mouth water thinking about it. Wow! (3/28/14: Still in love with this flavor). 3/28/2014: PINK LEMONADE- I can't drink this stuff. I seriously dread it. My sister likes the flavor but I think it's just too sour for me. If you are able to try this without a large purchase, I recommend trying it that way first. (I didn't see this flavor on Amazon yet). I hope that this update will help you decide which flavors to spend your $20-45 on. I am super glad I did not purchase the new Watermelon!

In August of 2016 I decided to start intermittent fasting. Around that time I also decided to start doing morning training sessions. I immedialty did research on how to train in the morning while fasted which lead to BCAA. Through my research I found Xtend BCAA and decided to order a bottle. My results have been fantastic. I am able to lift weights for an hour and can follow it with basketball, swimming or any other cardio without losing too much energy. If you're someone who does morning workouts while fasted, these are for you! I mix one scoop with a full shaker bottle worth of water each day. Flavors: Grape 10/10. I loved the grape flavor and plan to order it next. It reminded me of grape koolaid or a snow cone. Fruit punch 8/10. I got this a while back and it was the GO version with caffeine. Hard to remember flavor at this point but recall it tasting good. Blue raspberry 6/10. At first I thought I liked this but realized very quickly how sweet it was. It was like drinking the juice left at the bottom of a snow cone. Strawberry kiwi 5/10. I love both of these fruits and flavors but it just didn't work out for me. Too sweet for my liking. Blood orange 7/10. Blood orange is good but still a little too sweet. I plan to try out new flavors in the future and also the RAW at some point

I was so excited to try this when I got it in the mail today, that I dropped a scoop of the powder into my water and rushed to my university (I was in a hurry, as it was the first day back with new classes, bad traffic, and parking). After class, I headed to the gym. I had tried it in the car, and was blown away by the flavor. It was so tasty and refreshing that I wanted to drink the whole thing like a regular drink, but I knew I should save it for during the workout. I will say that as I drank this throughout my workout, I did feel pretty good compared to other workouts I've had. I don't know at this point if it was solely the BCAA powder that my muscles feeling good after a lot of work, but drinking this during my intense upper body workout was a heck of a lot more rejuvenating than just plain old water. Now the whole time I had been telling my guy friends about this, I was telling them the wrong flavor! I didn't realize as I had walked out of my house that Amazon had sent me the wrong flavor.... I got Mango. Now, I'm not actually disappointed by this. My first time trying this product, I was completely in love with the flavor. But I didn't read the label. What I had actually ordered was Blood Orange...! At least I know I like mango.... On here it says that mango is like, 50 cents more expensive than the blood orange? Give or take a few cents. Whatever. I guess I'll order blood orange again and hope they send the right one. But as of now, your girl is drinking mango flavor and loving it. I seriously wish I could drink this all day, but that is not the cost effective way to use this. I will say that in terms of potency in flavor, I used the maximum recommended amount of water to mix this with (it says anywhere between 8-16oz, so I did ~16-17oz) and the flavoring is pretty strong. If you don't like this sweet, you can always dilute it more... I think I'll be doing that a little bit more to see just where my taste buds enjoy it most

One level scoop. I funneled the soft pinkish power into my water bottle. A small amount of the powder fit through the funnel and hit the water forming several dry bubbles. I tapped the funnel and watched as the remaining powder fell into the bottle. I carefully poured a small amount of water through the funnel to ensure that the remaining powder residue would make it into the bottle before tossing the funnel into the sink. I carefully screwed the lid tight and shook rapidly and then I spun the bottle back and forth, watching as the powder dissolved into the water, turning it a murky dark yellow. The color could be noticed, even through the smoke colored bottle. They would know it wasn't water. They would see. Driving to the gym I glanced over and watched the liquid roll back and forth inside as I took turns, accelerated, and hit the brakes. Closer I came to the gym. I took the route behind the shopping center where no one could see me. Four homeless men stared at me as if they knew my secret, as if they know what I had inside. As I approached the parking spot I took a large swig of the concoction. It was slightly tangy and was a little difficult to swallow, like over-concentrated grape Kool-Aid. A feeling of nausea instantly swept over me, but was gone as quickly as it had arrived. I pulled into my spot and collected my water bottle, ensured that everything was out of sight and locked the door, setting the alarm right afterward. As I walked toward the gym, the first effects set in. My vision focused as if I could see as clearly as I could in my youth, but my glasses, I had left them at home. My pulse began to accelerate and the sounds of a distant locomotive were fast upon my ears. As I entered the gym, there were two rows of people standing to my left and right screaming and chanting, cheering me on. The music began to build in my ears. Five Finger Death Punch: Bulletproof. And I was. I walked to the counter and the girl who worked there tried to reach for the scanner, but she was so distracted by my masculine handsomeness that she knocked over her water, spilling it right into the vent on the computer. The computer sparked and caught fire, but I leaned forward and blew it out with a short puff. Afterward everyone cheered. They lifted me onto their shoulders and carried me to the bench press. I loaded the bar with 5 plates on each side and did 30 reps just to warm up. I increased my max exponentially due to Scivation Extend. I had only begun. For my second warm-up set I loaded the bar to the ends. There wasn't room for clips, so I just threw caution to the wind. As I walked to the bench to start my set, a fellow gym goer walked up as if to ask me if I needed a spot. I just put my hand up slowly and shook my head. He took several steps back, cautiously before starting to run. I laid back and began my set. Another30 reps done. I had run out of room on the bar. I walked to the other bench where a younger man was kipping 225. I grabbed the bar out of his hands and walked back to the bench and set it on top of the other bar. I loaded this bar to the ends as well. Laying back I wrapped my hands around both bars as everyone within 30 feet scattered and began to run in all directions, as fast as they could go to get away from the impending destruction. On the 10th rep I heard a loud blast. The roof of the gym was gon. I was looking at the empty sky. The barbells were flying straight up, plates and all. I saw a huge explosion as the plate hit a large airplane. It quickly began its descent, a flaming ball of fire. It landed on top of Taco bell with a loud boom. There was nothing left of either. I sat up cautiously and looked around. There was nothing left of the gym. All of the equipment had been blown out of the center and could not be found anywhere. I could see for 3-5 miles. There was nothing, nothing but empty space. I was sitting in the middle of ground zero. I had destroyed the greater metropolitan area. In the distance I could hear police sirens. The helicopter didn't take long to arrive, and the pilot was barking order for me not to move. I looked down and realized that I had grown enormous. I lifted my are amd inspected my bicep. It was as if there was a basketball inside my upper arm. My triceps scraped on the floor even as I sat up. Standing up I knocked the helicopter out of the sky with my head. It crashed to the ground below. They had no idea what the power of Scivation Extend would bring. But I knew what I had to do. Looking west I started to sprint to the ocean. It took 5 steps and I dove in. This caused massive tsunamis across most of the world, destroying civilization as we knew it. The air forces of every nation gathered and joined forces, what was left of them, but it was to late. I let out a roar and they all crumbled into dust. Fire shot from my fingertips and singed the earth as I jumped up and grabbed the moon, hurling it into the sun. The sun was knocked light years into the distance, leaving only my aura to light the world. Them I hear a voice to my left and looked over. I opened my eyes and looked up. The empty barbell was above me, and one of the bros asked me if I was done with my set. Um, yeah, I said. Though I knew I had not lifted the bar at all. “Are you okay.” He said. To be honest, because I do take an extremely powerful intra-workout, I actually chug this before I go to train. All other times I use a more basic BCAA which is PM & PM. ME! • In closing, as you can imagine, BCAA's are a huge part of my recovery as it should be with anyone that trains hard & frequently. “Scivation Xtend BCAA” is dosed 10,500mg per servings of amino's alone (including the Glutamine & L-citrulline malate), which is BANANAS, so in comparison to the many BCAA's i've purchased and/or reviewed on Amazon, these Xtend - Blue Raspberry 14.7 oz Pwdr BCAA” is at the TOP of the BCAA world, especially the L-Glutamine, L-citrulline malate, Potassium & B6 are all a bonus

If you are over 60, you know that it is hard to recover from exercise for a day or two without feeling sore or weak. I am almost 70, in pretty good shape but have issues with quick recovery. I have been drinking this product for two months now and I have to say, "WOW"! I don't ache or feel fatigued the next day after a workout. I should have found this product a long time ago! Will order the 90 day supply since it is way less expensive than the 30 day supply. The watermelon flavor taste nice too. Definite BUY rating! Update: I cannot say enough about this product! I drink it during and after my workouts! I went bicycling yesterday and the terrain was steep and hilly. Muscles burned and thought I would suffer tomorrow! It is tomorrow and no muscle pain, stiffness or fatigue! I was looking for something like this all my life! I found it and it is a keeper

If you like Blue Raspberry blow pops, you'll love this stuff. Flavor is spot on. Great stuff. I previously purchased the Watermelon, which is fine-to-good, but I couldn't fathom drinking it more than once a day. It was WAY too faux-sweet for me. I'd give that flavor 3 stars. With the Blue Raz, I look forward to drinking four of them. (Yes, four. I'm following the Lean Gains intermittent fasting protocol where I exercise early in the morning, but don't break my 16 hour fast until noon.) Also worth mentioning is that this product (in conjunction with their watermelon version and the Optimum Nutrition unflavored version) are my first exposure to BCAAs. I have used them daily now for 3 weeks and I can tell you they do make a NOTICEABLE difference in gym performance. Finally, another reviewer somewhere suggested mixing these Xtend products with the unflavored Optimum Nutrition BCAAs to lessen the cost per serving. (The OptNut BCAAs are 10g per serving vs. 7 for Xtend, and the scoop size is WAY smaller for the ON, so you're saving a good percentage of $$$ to do this.) I decided to try this, not to save money, but to lessen the sweetness per serving. I could not be happier with that decision. The ratio I use is about 13g of unflavored to 7g of Xtend and I am very happy with the results. The saved money is a nice bonus. An even nicer bonus is the reduction in sucralose and dyes you'll be ingesting

DISCLAIMER: My Personal Preferences Below. Actual Results May Vary 5/5 - BEST OVERALL FLAVOR: Italian Blood Orange This flavor tastes so similar to actual fresh squeezed oranges it's pretty mind blowing. And I definitely notice the richness they imitate in blood oranges, so it's not at all like a standard Tropicana OJ - it's better! They really nailed it in the flavor department for this one. My favorite every time 4/5 - DELICIOUS - WON'T GET BORED: Tropic Thunder, Watermelon Explosion, Knockout Fruit Punch, Pink Lemonade I could drink these flavors everyday. Tropic Thunder tastes EXACTLY like Pineapple - so if you love that, you'll love this (I do). Watermelon Explosion is our childhood favorite Jolly Rancher. Knockout Fruit Punch - Hawaiian Punch without the sugar!. Pink Lemonade - As advertised 3.5/5 - TASTY & ACCURATE FLAVOR: Glacial Grape, Freedom Ice These flavors still taste pretty good, I rotate in and out of them. What's more impressive is how close they taste to their actual listed flavor. Glacial Grape is exactly like the purple frost Gatorade and Freedom Ice, I kid you not, is literally the same flavor as the three colored Bombscicles we had as kids. It has the lemon, blue raspberry and cherry flavor all in one - and it works really well in my opinion 3/5 - JUST AVERAGE: Mango Madness, Strawberry Mango, Miami Ice, Lemon Lime The mango flavors taste a little too artificial for me - it's hard to recreate the actual mango taste in any product. I couldn't see myself drinking these all the time. Miami Ice is pretty good, it's like a strawberry coconut flavor (i dint notice much pineapple), but kind of average. Lemon Lime is pretty standard lemon lime (not lemonade though). 2/5 - NOT A FAN: Strawberry Kiwi Splash, Smash Apple, Margarita, Black Cherry Black Cherry smells like a Cherry starburst when u mix it, but tastes diluted somehow. It's not as "juicy" as the other flavors. Smash Apple is also chemically tasting. Margarita, i have to say is pretty spot on in terms of flavor (it's a little salty and lime-forward, like the cocktail). Took awhile to get through the tub though because I wasn't looking forward to drinking it after the first time. Strawberry Kiwi is not as good as the Strawberry Kiwi Snapples they used to make back in the day lol. It's neither Strawberry and it's neither Kiwi. I didn't find the flavor very pleasant and I haven't finished the tub from 6 months ago. 1/5 - GROSS: Rainbow Sherbet I was excited at the idea of this one, but the execution just doesn't work here for me. Maybe it's because a creamy ice cream flavor doesn't go well in a sports drink. Strange aftertaste NOT TESTED: Blue Raspberry I generally don't go for the "blue razz" flavor drinks because I don't love raspberry anything. Iv'e heard good things about this one though, and some people say it's their favorite! Overall, I love Xtend. I think there's a flavor out there for pretty much everyone. Helps me stay hydrated - BCAAs probably better when you're training fasted. I drink it intra workout and look forward to having it every day when I lift. Personally, i think the recommended 10-14oz of water is too little. I use the big 24 oz shaker bottles w/ one scoop and it's perfect. Super refreshing. Highly Recommend!!
